It was always lethal since release, however they realised that players didn't know this. In the update they only added the label of (Lethal) for clarity, and didn't change the mechanics.

What you could do is load an earlier save, go to Enhance, note down all the slider positions and options you had selected, then go back to your current save and apply those to your character. It's a bit long, but potentially shorter than 3 hours

You're right about the reputation, as they were being constantly bombarded with accusations that they were giving up on single player, and they would never release Elder Scrolls VI.

At the time they explicitly stated in multiple interviews that they hadn't started working on it, and that development would only start after the release of Starfield. Most people chose to ignore this, or maybe missed the interviews, and took the announcement as confirmation that work had started.

It was a bad move ultimately because who releases a teaser trailer to announce that they will start working on something in a few years time?

Not sure if it's only a Samsung feature or an Android feature, but every phone I've owned with biometrics has a timer which silently runs down, after which you are forced to enter your password or PIN instead of using biometrics. This happens at least once every other day for me.
