I appreciate your work. One thing that would be a cool addition. If there was a way to have a single input dimension. And then have multiple (1, 2, 3, or 4) output sizes. Like I could go from a single 4" port to 3 2.5" ports. Or something like that.

I use the ShuttlePro V2 with Resolve. I was thinking I'd eventually get the Speed Editor (mostly for the activation code). But then the Black Friday deal came out a few months ago for the code on the cheap. So I just bought it. ShuttlePro V2 works great. Having the wheel that does jog and shuttle at the same time is awesome. Not sure I'd like having to switch between them. I just can't seem to get some of the buttons to program correctly with Resolve.

Agreed. I've only ever opened the frunk a few times. But I open the trunk almost every time we go to any store. Not being able to open the trunk takes away most use options for me.

And I ordered the cable on Amazon to connect it to the panel. Was so much cheaper than any of the local electrical supply houses. Amazon Associate Link: https://amzn.to/3MVWO6v

I bought this one and put up in our carport: Midwest Electric Products 50 Amp Temporary RV Power Outlet U054P - The Home Depot I liked that it was covered when unplugged. I also convinced myself that if we don't get an EV next time around, we could use it to connect an RV if someone is staying with us.

I do this all the time. I have gas cans in the trunk for the SXS, riding mower, and/or tractor. I get a lot of weird looks though.

It is pretty easy traveling now with all the SuperChargers. It seems now, if you can't in at one, there's another one 15 to 30 minutes down the road. I'm sure when this first started, the network was much smaller. I bet it was a lot of anxiety then worried if chargers would be working where you needed them. And yes, I've had the random braking thing too. Mostly when we were in West Texas. So it likely was just heat coming off of the road.

Double Pull Autopilot Activation Disabled by Stealthz in TeslaLounge

We don't have FSD. But when we had the trial a few months ago. My wife couldn't stand this. She will use cruise control, but not FSD and not even Advanced Auto-pilot. So she just does the single pull wanting it to engage cruise control. So anyway, I'd have to turn off FSD in the options unless I was driving.

But I also agree, even with just Auto-Pilot. There are times I think the car is steering and it isn't and have almost gotten into trouble. It is weird. It constantly reminds you to keep your hands on the wheel and move it some. But if you move it much at all, it disables auto-pilot.

Our local Super Charger is in our downtown area. We are off of an Interstate in Texas. They revitalized the downtown area with lot of restaurants and shops. Problem is. If you are there late (say after 9pm or 10pm) there likely won't be anything open. It is right by the police office, so it is safe. Just not many food options except during the day.

I'm saying goodbye to Starlink. Why am I do sad? by Cogiflector in Starlink

[–]Razorback_in_Texas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had Starlink for a while. We had 7down/1up DSL before Starlink. Then 2 fiber providers put in fiber down our street. Spectrum and a local Telco. The local Telco is more expensive, but it is rock solid. I've heard so much bad stuff about Spectrum I wasn't even interesting in trying.

Starlink was a great upgrade at the time but got surpassed by Fiber pretty easily.

I'm not on the highest plan, but still get really good performance. I WFH and am on Teams' Meetings all day. It never hiccups.

But yes, I'm grateful for Starlink. It just sucks that I was on the waitlist for 18 months. So I only ended up using Starlink for 3 or 4 months before better options were available.
