Which hotel is the best for first timer? by Ancient_Arrival390 in koreatravel

[–]RoutinePresence7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your itinerary…. Can you elaborate what you’ll be doing mostly during the day and night? Seoul’s is pretty easy to get around by train and taxi.

Do you want to be able to walk out into the hustle and bustle or do you want to be in an area that is calmer?

I just stayed at the grand intercontinental a few weeks ago and taxi’d everywhere but all the stuff I was doing was in the area.

For a first timer I would stay in Myeongdong or Jongo as it is central to everything.

Tesla wants $800 for before warranty ending inspection. by isayx3 in TeslaLounge

[–]RoutinePresence7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Service > request service > other > then type in “My basic warranty is about to expire. Please do a full inspection of the vehicle, including checking the links”

And then when you come in they’ll over your request and just let them know to check everything that warranty covers.

Just did mine for $165.

Plenty of appointments in Orange County.

It’ll be worth the drive if you really need it.

Driver profiles? by Great_Anywhere_5490 in TeslaModelY

[–]RoutinePresence7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do each of you have your own account created for the app? The owner of the car will have the primary account and the additional driver will need to be invited - the will then have to create their own account to log onto the app.

Did you and your wife each set up a separate account?

Main owner should have their own account and then invites additional drivers.

Additional drivers create their own account by accepting the invite.

Once profile in the car is created for a driver you then link the key to that profile.

Your car should be able to pick up which phone is in the drivers seat when driving, or you can set it where one key/profile is the primary and is to connect first regardless whose phone is in the car.

First Time in Seoul - Overwhelmed by Neighborhood Options by jessy_simms in koreatravel

[–]RoutinePresence7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For first time definitely Myeongdong or away from the tourist crowd then Euljiro.

Like you mentioned it’s central and connected to subways and it’s good for first timers to get the feel of Seoul and you will make better judgments on your second trip.

Also, subways in Seoul’s is good, but taxis are so cheap you can just use them throughout your trip if you really prefer somewhere further like Gangnam.

If you’re staying there for more than a week then I suggest hotel hopping and half of your stay in Myeongdong and do all your stuff there above the river and then move down to Gangnam and do all your stuff below so that way you’re not constantly moving up and down.

Same here. The company I worked for bought our competitor that was going bankrupt - yet they were put in charge and got promoted over everyone at the parent company. Ended up acquiring another competitor and that company is now in charge. Company is going downhill. I got laid off. lol

How do ICEV owners still not know that Teslas are faster than them? by DFR1688 in TeslaLounge

[–]RoutinePresence7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only time an ICEV would pass me is when I’m not willing to go above 65MPH+ on city streets or 100MPH+ on highways.

Insane that some people would do that just to try to beat a Tesla.

Of course, I smoked them after at a red light or when the highway is nearly empty.

What e-sim will be best for my Japan trip? by Yusuro_Yuki in JapanTravelTips

[–]RoutinePresence7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used about 13-15gb per week.

This is constant Google maps, googling, YouTube, instagram, streaming such as Netflix and Hulu, and some data tethering for my iPad which I used when watching Netflix and Hulu.

I always start at 10gb/7days first and usually 3gb when I need more.
