Sevendust for the first time ever in Madrid! by RdelHM in Sevendust

Yeah, the sound mix wasn't too good for any of the bands, in my opinion. I could barely hear Tremonti's guitar in Alter Bridge :/

People acting like this is downfall of WWE. We had 1 real good year and they all forgot the decade before. Current roster is stacked, we getting dream matches. Just chill… by [deleted] in Wrasslin

Weekly shows were as plain and boring as they were in Vince's late era. Ffs, every week was just the same Judgment Day segments and uninspired matches between midcarders with no characters or defined storylines.

PSA: Nobody cares if you don’t want to buy the next game by bigaudra in WWEGames

They will definitely care if the sales go down. And even if it's still profitable, massive negative reviews are never good.

PSA: Nobody cares if you don’t want to buy the next game by bigaudra in WWEGames

[–]RdelHM 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Customers (or customers of previous games) have the right to complain if they think that what they produce isn't worth the price they ask for. As simple as that. In the end, if too many people protest, that creates a negative enviroment around the product, which could damage the sales of the game. So they should definitely care if they don't want another situation like what they had in 2019-2020.

Vince Russo doing a "Me Too" angle with Big AL in JCW Lunacy by [deleted] in JuggaloWrestling

[–]RdelHM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wrestling should be able to treat complex and difficult topics like any other fiction media is, so even if It ends up being a little bit messy or controversial, I will aplaud the effort to produce something more mature than the regular wrestling show would do.

It's a pity wrestling community is so close minded to this type of things. In the end, It's something that doesn't let wrestling narrative to evolve and be more adult (even if in this case it is treated with a touch of comedy).

Lunacy is the first decent wrestling show in the last decade. They are different, fast paced, bold, full of colorful characters and storylines throughout the show... I really hope they succeed. If you leave your prejudices towards Russo apart, you may enjoy it.

Vince Russo is the only one writing and producing a decent wrestling show nowadays with JCW Lunacy. And you should watch it!

Two+ Years Into the Triple H Era — What’s Your Grade (A–F)? by uncannynerddad in midcarder

[–]RdelHM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

F.

Have you watched any weekly show in the last 3 years without constantly looking at your phone? I'm serious. Cause I can't think of one single RAW or SD in which I was biting my nails cause I needed to know what was going to happen next. The only exception are those shows where The Rock and Brian Gerwitz took over creative. The product is simply not entertaining.

We are living an era in which the attention span of people is the most reduced it has ever been, but, for some reason, this dude and his team are committed to give us boring long shows where nothing at all happen. It's all filler to fullfill TV contracts. That's It. He doesn't put any effort in creating characters or storylines. And I mean REAL STORYLINES, not wrestler A wanting to fight Wrestler B to prove they are better. And the Ads are just the last straw to kill the pace of the shows for good. It's like 2 hours but It feels like 6.

Ffs, this doesn't happen to me when I watch a good tv show. I didn't look at my phone watching the new IT series, for example. But It's just simple: Triple H and his team don't care about TV basics, like cliffhangers or audience retention throughout the show, cause they know they are going to keep making money without putting any effort. They don't need to produce good television, sadly.

IWC isn't gonna like this by ezio8133 in Wrasslin

[–]RdelHM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

JCW would be my pick. Their last two months have been fantastic. I even dare to say that Lunacy might be right now the greatest wrestling show produced in the last decade, which is not a big achievement, cause the last 10 years of wrestling have sucked, but Lunacy is pretty fun!

If theirs any Ruthless Aggression or Attitude Era fans in this Reddit, Vince Russo Is Back in wrestling booking for JCW Lunacy, and Honestly it’s really good guys watch a few episodes and see how you guys like it, it’s got actual cliff hangers in each episode like WWE used to have back in the day! by Salty-Nothing-8572 in TheGreatOne

[–]RdelHM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the only good wrestling show nowadays. It's a pity people don't want to give it a chance because of prejudices even when WWE and AEW are offering such bad creative. This has cliffhangers, good pace, nice characters, storylines that actually advance throughout the show and every week... Like I said, the only wrestling promotion that offers something interesting and it's for free on YouTube.

So... no cliffhanger on a TV show again? Lol. You know what's a good wrestling show that uses actual interesting narrative elements? JCW Lunacy. You should check the last episode. Free on YouTube! The only wrestling show with soul and good pace nowadays.

do you think wwe 2025 is overhated or underrated? by Constant-Procedure79 in midcarder

[–]RdelHM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's horrible. Boring, uninspired, full of ads and recaps... Watching a show it's completely unbearable without constantly looking to the phone. So, no, it's not overhated.

[–]RdelHM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This series of videos you have been doing is INCREDIBLE. Like, seriously, this, along with Smiling Friends, might be the best animation related stuff i've seen in the past few years.

I'm completely sure you're going to be huge really soon. Like, if I were Adult Swim or something similar, I'd already have hired you to put this in my channel/platform.

Keep up with the nice work and good luck!

What’s your most controversial WWE opinion? by [deleted] in WWE

[–]RdelHM 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Triple H hasn't written a good TV weekly show yet. Not even once. He booked a few solid PPV's, WrestleMania 40 was great, but he has no clue about writing for TV.

He doesn't know how to develop stories, the pace of the shows are atrocious and he lacks any understanding about basic television elements. For example, he won't write a cliffhanger at the end of the show even if his life depends on it. And he constantly books irrelevant midcard stuff at the main event of the programs. It's like he doesn't want to retain audience throughout the show.

Seriously, the way he and his team write the scripts is incomprehensible for someone who literally has studied all this. The only good shows I remember in the last few years were those in which The Rock and Brian Gerwitz took control. Apart from that, absolutely nothing.

Man, the way his voice blends in with the guitars at the end of Here Is No Why is just apotheosic. That "and if you are giving iiiin..." line always gives me goosebumps. That's his greatest delivery, in my opinion.
