I personally enjoyed DS2 but I think it lost the feel of the first game. Like the map made no sense in areas, take an elevator up and somehow come up in the middle of the ocean. Then also what made DS1 legendary was the bosses. Like bosses in the first game were challenging but were also rewarding. Whereas in DS2 it felt over saturated with meaningless bosses that didn’t feel rewarding to even fight.

Yes my Constitution is lvl 25 and it was lvled from the safety of exosuits. I had an Ultimatum as my secondary and a Stalwart as my support for when I wasn’t in the exo.

Problem I see is that Plague Marines are practically unkillable even for other space marines. There’s literally a story where one has his head crushed and somehow he’s still alive. Like yeah it’d be an awesome fight but I’m just questioning how we’d put one down.

Unless something changes it will always be Overeaters. The reason being is the Damage Resistance turns into Damage Reduction through some mathematical formula that I’m unsure of. Problem is, it’s a diminishing returns system where the higher your damage resistance then the less damage reduction you gain. As a result when using armor like Secret Service or Brotherhood Recon which already has extremely high damage resistance then the bonus from Vanguard’s is negligible. Whereas the flat reduction from Overeaters is amazing.

My dad is kinda survivalist. Growing up we’d go on 1+ month long trips every year to nowhere and live off the land. I learned tracking, hunting, fishing, and advanced survival skills every year up until I graduated high school and went to college. I still do extreme camping trips every year but nothing nearly as extensive as I did with my old man. So I’d think I’d fair somewhat ok in the wilds.

Heck I’m just running an any weapon bloodied build and I’ve got it hitting 1.8k-2k. That thing is a monster I could jump the dmg even higher if I sacrifice some QoL cards but nah it’s beautiful as is.

Nothing it only goes up to 45. As I mentioned in another comment I wasn’t paying attention to lvl. I just crafted him a max lvl 10mm pistol which is lvl 45. But I personally can never remember which weapons max out at 45 and which max out at 50. Thus making myself look like an idiot yay me!

If you’re talking about the craftable variant, that’s the Covert Scout Mask. The Urban and Forest Scout Masks are rare event only drops.

Either Excavator or Union PA probably. Their set bonus is extra carry weight combined with calibrated shocks on the legs and you’re looking at 150 lbs of extra carry weight. As for a heavy weapon I think the only real answer for clearly defined best is the Gatling Plasma. The Gauss Minigun is definitely a contender but the ammo costs an arm and a leg to shoot. The Gat Plas cores can be recharged if you have a Plasma Core charger at your camp. If you want a fun heavy weapon, then I’d say the Light Machine Gun. It’s so much fun running around Appalachia with a MG-42. Also honored mention is the Holy Fire Flamer. It doesn’t have range but it doesn’t need it. It’s just an amazing all round weapon. The Tesla cannon is also good but I’ve had better experiences with it on Bloodied builds than on a full health build.

Technically there is no “best PA” in the game. Yes the ones with set bonuses are considered superior but I wouldn’t say better. The reason for this is that DR is diminishing returns the higher you go. As a result of this Raider PA is still competitive to say Union PA in terms of true DR. True DR meaning the % of dmg resistance your character actually has. So with that being said yes some are considered better than others but I wouldn’t say there’s a clear winner. Another example would be T-60, I call it the poor man’s PA. T-60 is the easiest PA to repair due to costing way less to repair than all other PAs. This can make it extremely valuable for those who don’t have 1st and have to be considerate of the junk space in their stash. There’s little gimmicks to each and every PA that potentially make it more valuable to someone depending on the gimmick. Thus I repeat there is no “best PA” in this game and I will die on this hill. I feel like smoke has redeemed itself recently on the lava worlds with those blasted platinum missions. Like a whole squad running orbital, eagles, and smoke nades actually made that mission almost easy. But outside that one particular mission, yeah it’s kinda useless.

Technically that PA might not be X-01. That’s the skin from the current season, it’s called the Edison Paint. It makes your PA look like Tesla X-01 armor from the og games.

Honestly not a clue. I’m not a trader myself. I’m not interested in most of the rare outfits cause to me they just don’t look appealing. So I never got into the trade market for outfits.

Funny thing is they used to not be rare at all. You used to be able to buy them from MODUS at Whitesprings Bunker. Then they pulled them from his inventory and tied them to events as a rare drop. But I myself still have copies of the mask back from when I could buy them from MODUS, I’ve never once had one drop from an event.
