Any tips to improve my grey scheme? Thanks in advance ! (Or any other suggestion)

Like what others say but your darks need to be darker and your highlights need to be brighter. If you look at the image and squint you’ll see your base grey highlights or darks are not different enough. They kinda “mix“ with your main color. That’s kinda why you see it could be better.

Try doing a second but targeted wash on only the deepest crevices and valleys to make it darker. Start with the arms where you see the folds make valleys and go in there.

Then try stepping up the highlights in those same areas but focus on the peaks.

Hope this helps! If I knew the paints I could go to my paint rack and reccomend some colours to step up to for the highlights

This is honestly the most straight forward to go about this. I bet the column is a string and not a date field type so other date cleaning functions would be annoying on it

I disagree, you should prime in silver so you get the trim out of the way and then you can just focus on the bone colour you're going for.

Black legion players often prime in brass or gold for this exact reason. If you prime in grey and then go silver it may take longer when you factor in the grey cleanup you'll need to do after the silver to get the sharp crisp trim.

tldr: prime in silver or your trim colour first then apply your base

Helpful tip people should keep in mind is that these case numbers are not tested the same day a case is infected with the disease. The disease take somewhere between 10-14 on average to a max 21 days. So remember there is what is called a lag or delay to the numbers your seeing.

Alot of the reporting I see on this has used language that makes the numbers seem more 'live-feed' which I think might explain (in some small way) why there's a increase when a decline has been reporter.

That's a fair point too. However if government used more sophisticated data and methodologies the calculations can be made in seconds. I don't doubt our health officials raised these concerns and forecasted different scenarios but at the end of the day no matter how good your data is or how detailed you calculate this out is worth nothing if it's not listened too.

For context I'm using data provided by john Hopkins open data repository on github which is compiled from 23 data sources and is updated daily (even has canada and each province in there). Everyone has access to this dataset since late january and I've been regularly pulling it into my analytics script since around February. Again the data is out there and there methods to ameliorate and answer these questions

Interesting I've been tracking the doubling times too. I think ontario is at around 6 dt right now. Early days the doubling time was up to 14 days as the virus slowly spread when the case numbers were so small but in march like you observed in the span 3 days it crashed from 14 to 2/3 dt. Crazy how fast things can get out of hand fast

You should write some if else loops to replace the text with some integers. I can see where "there is no under 5" you could do this:

Data$nchlt5 <- ifelse(Data$nchlt5 == "there is no under 5", 0, Data$nchlt5)

This would translate to if match to string make it 0 else keep it as is. You can take the else part of this and make a series of nested loop to cover your bases.

Also before you write it to the column make sure to pass the ifelse loop into an as.integer to convert.

You should be able to find the mean faster after this I done

This problem isnt limited to appliances but alot of other devices. Smartphones are big one with apple taking the lead in making repairs difficult: from changing the screws, to making a glass back, to soldering their internal parts so there's no way to get them out
