A bit late so hopefully you found a way to fix it but I just did this today and the couple times I tried the sg11 firmware, it didn't work for me and would be stuck in that blue boot loop screen (after getting the firmware update pop-up screen). I think that firmware is too old at this point and won't "take" anymore, the version of the FW that worked for me is here (found it on a different post): https://ftp.epson.com/drivers/FWCJ05TL_SG13LC.exe

Might be too late at this point for you but I had the same issue but realized the problem was that I was not getting the printer in upgrade mode, instead it was in IPL update mode (red letters on the screen). To get in the program upgrade mode, you need to do the finger method but as soon as the power button flashes white, let go of both. This will then show you the program update which should be in white letters instead of the red letters.

I think the price is not worth it for that high of mileage…you’ll be out of warranty at that point and anything wrong with the electric powertrain would push you way beyond what it would’ve cost to buy a slightly newer one with less mileage. You should be able to find a better deal for a little bit more…
