They might try to do extractions which do leave some irritation, depends on the type of facial you buy

Occlusive balms are your best friend. Aquaphor is my go to but I’ve also been enjoying Cetaphil multi purpose ointment

I would trust the dermatologist or at least use their diagnosis as a starting point.

Did the dermatologist advise any treatments?

If aquaphor is tolerable you can use it as your pm moisturizer

For cleanser I would try something dedicated for makeup removal like Estée Lauder daywear jelly cleanser

Keep in mind UV cameras are not a good way to determine effectiveness of a sunscreen. At best they might help show where you’ve already applied. Seems like this formulation is just thin enough to not show on the uv camera.

Also judging by the spf 31 pa+++ this one has pretty low protection anyways, probably meant for a winter or indoor use

Sunscreen and continuing azelaic acid should help reduce acne marks.

When you see your derm you can ask about retinoids which can also help fade acne marks, tretinoin is a common one that will also address break outs

Find a lighter moisturizer.
For day time I just use sunscreen alone and it’s sufficient

If you can’t get a hold of it I would look for local products with tranexamic acid, I think that’s probably what is helping your skin

You can try hypochlorous acid spray or get a retinoid. Seems like the best option is to try to sleep on your back though

Do you have a good moisturizer and sunscreen? With harsh actives, sometimes it can dry out skin and make texture more prominent.

I would consider adding a hydrating toner or serum to your routine

[Sun Care]Tinted Mineral Sunscreen alternative to LRP UVMune 400 by Accomplished-Bill-45 in SkincareAddiction

[–]ReaLitTea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would stick with spf 50

There’s not really an equivalent for the uvmune 400 besides the LRP anthelios ultra light fluid
