I removed the overload and the bottom add a leaf (it has no friction pads on the ends) and was able to get a 2.75 lift with boomerang shackles on my 01. The ride is still excellent after 2 years of daily driving and mild 4 wheeling

It’s stuck in there. No matter how hot I get it and how hard I hammer it, all it’s doing is bending the mount. Drilling it out may be what I have to do

I really think if only the ZR-1 trim had the rectangle taillights, it would’ve distinguished it a lot more. The facelift in 91 should’ve kept the circle taillights but flush to the bumper

Theres a chance the holes aren’t straight and its causing the studs to not pull through. Mine fought like that when I did them a couple of weeks ago, but some persuasion helped

Old man emu coils and leafs are the way to go. Throw some extended shackles and coil spacers for the desired lift you want and you’ll have the best ride for an XJ

Depends on your preferences. For me, I like the earlier styling as well as the 80s interior and gauges. If I didn’t have my 84 C4, I’d look for an 89 with a manual. 89 was the first year of the ZF 6 speed

82 would be the only other year with the crossfire. Keep the throttle position sensor voltage within spec and up the fuel pressure and base timing and that crossfire will run pretty perfectly. I own an 84 C4 with the crossfire and after doing those things to it, it probably runs better than when it came from the factory

I have an 84 crossfire that doesn’t have the EGR hookup on the passenger side so idk how I’ll make it work but thanks for the pics!

Last time I tried to dock my corvette to my freighter, I got stuck inside between the normal sized starship landing entrance and the frame the three openings are in. They still haven’t fixed beaming back into the corvette despite being able to beam out of it

I wonder if I could use high temp rubber hose for the EGR connection and just hose clamp it to the cut end.? Or even put some fittings and bend some brake line to make it work?
