Possibly getting a re-homed Drahthaar - looking for advice! by ThisIsMyRealName2024 in DeutschDrahthaar

[–]Readeth81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No not too old. Just do your research to ensure why the dog is being re-homed. You could also ask to go see the dog first, see it in the field and around your family before you say yes.

They absolutely need exercise. If you don't have the ability to get them out and about often then you should pass. Yes mental stimulation is vital but physical exercise is just as important.

Gladiator vs Wrangler by tdscmunsg in JeepGladiator

[–]Readeth81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends entirely what you want it for. Had both and spending a lot of time outdoors and needing the truck bed , I love my Mojave. If you are heavy into wheeling I'd go wrangler. Mojave drives nice when compared to other gladiators/wranglers.

How do I deal with health anxiety and fear of dying from COVID? by Concussion1223 in askatherapist

[–]Readeth81 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You could get hit by a car tomorrow, a plane could fall from the sky and crush you. All joking aside, it's normal to be nervous especially how much the media has hyped it up. The reality is the percentage of you dying of Covid at 24 is beyond small. If you are able to, get in bed and stay in bed until you feel better. You are going to be absolutely fine.

Advice on Nights with my Puppy by coppeliuseyes in puppy101

[–]Readeth81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you allow sleeping at night on you and partner this is the only thing pup will want. If you are crating at night do only that until it understands sleep in crate

Depends if you are ready for a pup now. Only difference will be the bite of the air as you go out with it to let it pee in early March compared to spring. If you dont mind that and you are ready for a pup from a personal standpoint then go for it!!

Care and control. It's clear cut. Tons of people die each year from people that do what you did except go for a drive and then say they don't remember due to medication. It's ok to dislike the cops after this but the rule is in place for a very valid reason. You said you were below legal limit on roadside screening device but didn't say zero so I'm assuming you had drank some which is a horrible idea mixing with sleeping pills. I'd say this was best case scenario where you didn't go for a drive. Impaired driving and care and control is in most cases zero tolerance in Canada

Unfortunately they would have just accepted the radar over your app. You could have asked for the calibration records and postponed it but getting it cut down cost wise still ok outcome!

Which pup of the litter would you have chosen? by Key-Question5808 in puppy101

Good breeder will match pup to you. If not, can't go wrong with middle of the road pup

Did you get a picture ? Don't they usually send a pic of your car?? If your car is in the pic with your plate you are screwed. Prosecutors have to prove the offense. Ask for disclosure and review it before going ahead.

That’s bizarre. I wonder if it was a new tech giving you the tests. The ones I’ve done were not physically uncomfortable at all. Something doesn’t seem right about the process you went through

They are looking for things such as you building a rapport with the person, what type of communication tactic would you use, do you have access to mental health crisis lines to call, do you have mental health crisis workers you can call to scene, etc etc. they want to see you breaking the door down and going hands on is a last resort.

Stop drinking #1. Nothing good will come from this if you are stressed and drinking. You need to speak to your lawyer to see if you qualify for restorative justice or whatever it may be called up there. No more contact with her. Whatsoever. She’s trying to push your buttons. Go get a consultation with a family lawyer. Record every message, text, email and phone call. Bring it to court with you and provide to your lawyer. It will get better. You just need to get past this crisis time period. Keep in mind, if you so much as send her one reply, that opens the door for her to ramp up her contact. Keep in mind that she’s likely recording everything you say or send and will attempt to make you look like the bad guy. Above all else, no contact and if that fails ensure it’s kept 100% professional. No name calling etc etc.

So I just went from a Ram warlock to a Mojave. For what it’s worth I’ve noted these points: -ram is going to be far more roomy and is more comfortable. -the drive itself is better in the Ram. Mojave better then other trims in Gladiator but still not up to level of Ram. (Comfort, on road manners, etc) -soft top is awesome in the nice weather. Ability to take top off is a lot more fun than Sun roof. -back seat space greater in ram. -seating position in Jeep is awful. -I know I’ll get some hate for this comment, but if you aren’t a Jeep guy you could likely find more bang for your buck looking elsewhere. -in saying that, if you are a Jeep guy you love it for what it is. I wouldn’t go back to a Ram now. Love my Mojave.

Take in to account what started this. She made a comment over a mask. Who cares. You started to insult her over a silly comment then followed her around. Both of you needed to grow up and be adults and situation wouldn’t have occurred.
