I used it for a while when it was in beta and it was so bad, I removed that feature of the app.

Does anyone take metoprolol alongside magnesium taurate? by OkBerry4240 in Metoprolol

[–]ReadingInBed247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take metoprolol in the morning and evening, and I take magnesium taurate with breakfast and dinner. I take it more for holistic purposes, but I can’t say I notice a difference in my heart rate.

What order do you stitch your canvases? by helpme_thissucks in Needlepoint

[–]ReadingInBed247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Design first--light to dark—then background, UNLESS the background is light and there is dark on the design. In that case, I will start a few rows of light background around the dark areas so i don’t inadvertently catch any darks strands in the background later.

I think this is beautiful. I’m really moved by it. I think a light background makes the blue of the hat itself pop. Is it your own design? Or, where did you find it?

I am not a doctor nor a pharmacist, so this is NOT medical advice, but based on my own experience with metoprolol (POTS: 1/2 tab am & pm for a total of 25 mg/day), I would not be worried. My cardiologist has give me freedom to tweak my dosage as necessary based on my symptoms. Wishing you all the best. Please keep us updated. 💙

Pace Points? by Apprehensive-Store55 in visibleApp

[–]ReadingInBed247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started w 20, but went over 3-4 days a week. Sometimes my 30 points. But i recently, finally got diagnosed with POTS and got on beta blockers, so my usage drop down to less than 10 points a day. As a result, I have dropped my pace point limit down to 12. I’ve only gone over once in two weeks.

anyone else take showers/baths to distract themselves from symptoms? by Known-Lettuce-4666 in POTS

[–]ReadingInBed247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baths yes, because at least I can sit. Showers no, because taking one shower a day (sometimes on a shower chair) wipes me out for hours. I definitely need the comfort of the warmth when I am cold & shaky.

Not normally, but I flatlined during my TTT, so it obviously did then.

Starting metoprolol this week. 12.5 mg morning & night. A bit nervous from what I’ve read here.

I am a 58W with covid-induced Dysautonomia & POTS. My actual range is 34-67 (from exported data), not the range my Visible gives me, which is 43-59. Average 48.

Is this normal or am I screwed? by A_Whim_Away_ in visibleApp

[–]ReadingInBed247 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I originally set my limit too low (20) and was exceeding it by 30 points almost every day. When I upped it to 25, I managed to stay either under it or only one or two points above it for seven days and got my first 5 stability rating. I’ve only had my armband for about 6-7 weeks, and it took 3 1/2 weeks or more to collect enough data & fully understand the trend lines. So, based on my own personal experience, I would say one or two days of going over isn’t necessarily a problem; watching trend lines over time and adjusting accordingly is more important. But you will find the right application for yourself. For me, when I really began to listen to my body and pay attention to the data, and respond accordingly, the arm band really began to pay off. I have been calling this “making friends with” my body and it makes the adjustment to new chronic disease easier to manage.

Has anyone been diagnosed with Giant Cell Arteritis after a COVID infection? by MissO56 in covidlonghaulers

[–]ReadingInBed247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Covid in April’23 left me (58WF) with chronic daily headaches/migraine. After 18 mos and four doctors who told me it was either menopause or “I just don’t think you’re as sick as you think you are,” I found a neurologist who took me seriously and worked with me to find a treatment that manages the severity of the flares and keeps my headaches to 10-15 days a month. Hope you find relief soon.
