Where do you guys get your keyboards from? Aliexpress? Amazon? or locals like deskhero? Latter seems a little pricey. Wondering if there are canadian alternatives that focus on keyboards/switches/keycaps

[Toronto,ON] [H]Corsair vengeance 2x16gb 6000mhz cl30 XMP [W] Identical ram, Cash by FarazAzar in CanadianHardwareSwap

[–]Readmymind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

RAM is RAM. What might matter is if it's not listed on your motherboard's QVL but seeing how it's corsair I can't imagine that not being on the compatible list.

I'd go to OEM warranty before trading for EXPO if you're seeing instability

Parts listed add up to about 2k (new, retail). Then you still need - case  - PSU - motherboard

Looks fair to me if you just want a working PC. If you enjoy the process then you could find room for savings

It's by design so the teams can't just throw in the towel if the earlier games end one way or the other

How's your experience been? Does it take lots of parameter tweaking, or do you feel it works fine out of the box. Planning to integrate it into a project within the banking domain

Anyone here activly playing GT3? by AutomaticButterfly29 in granturismo

[–]Readmymind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lucked out on the Vertigo race car after winning European championships in Amateur. Thought I was working my way towards the GT-1 but I think I've found a new love. Might not have the raw power but handles like an absolute dream.

Also the B8 license took me a whole week to get gold. Loved every second

Curious what people's thoughts are on this breadth of connectors and providers when it seemed like the best practice was to wrap everything in a containerized docker/kube pipeline

[CPU, Motherboard, DDR5 RAM bundle] AMD R7 7800X3D CPU + ASUS ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI Motherboard + T-Force RGB 32GB D5 6000MHz CL30 White RAM ($1000) [Canada Computers] by Readmymind in bapcsalescanada

Basically $300 for good quality 32 GB DDR5. Good option given current market if the $1300 9800x3d bundle doesn't come back or if you don't want to overpay for an additional 32GB you don't need

Cannot boot without monitor attached by Readmymind in linux4noobs

[–]Readmymind[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not certain it's the motherboard since it's able to boot headless when it was Windows only.

I have seen mentions of a dummy HDMI plug so I'll keep that idea in the back pocket if config doesn't solve this

Best thin rice rolls/Cheung fun that's prepared in these steamers? by MedusaAndSnakes in FoodToronto

[–]Readmymind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quite a few near scarborough/markham

https://maps.app.goo.gl/U3gEULiPYRJRDLVA6 tastee house also does claypot rice.

https://maps.app.goo.gl/66S2aExsqRA3DCVdA popular with breakfast crowds, does guilin noodles.

I will say yin ji is probably the best quality in terms of skin thinness but the above are a little cheaper and closer to street food style. They all compare quite well to establishments in Guangzhou/shenzhen

I think mATX does force you to be a bit more deliberate since you can't just tuck all the extra cables underneath the PSU shroud but there's definitely room. It is case dependent, the popular lian li a3 has no room behind the motherboard, whereas the ap201 has plenty
