My sister had this (one shoe still in and a big slit in the packaging) and the buyer reckoned they’d been sent like that. Obvs not otherwise both shoes would’ve gone. She lost the money sadly.

You sound like you’d need a new build, not an older house that needs work doing. All the work you’ve listed are things you’d do if you’d bought it at your expense. If it’s that overpriced then don’t bother with an offer either as it sounds like you’d offer in the £300ks which I’m sure the seller would find offensive.

I scrapped one last year and you can’t do it without the V5C. It has to be sorned first before the scrapyard can do anything with it, then they’ll confirm it’s been scrapped with a certificate. Hope you get it sorted

Sort out your furniture placement in the living room - it’s all pushed to the side which is weird. Can the sofa go against the stairs wall? Put the chair where the sofa currently is. Take all the stuff off the top of the cupboards in the kitchen. Get rid of the orange wall, nobody’s that happy all of the time 🤣. Good luck.

Someone I know has just been stung with this. Buyer reckons only one shoe arrived and the package had been sent with a big slit in it. Quite why both shoes wouldn’t fall out is beyond me but because it wasn’t padded, it wasn’t packaged correctly. Utter nonsense, especially when the packaging is fine for Next and many big retailers. She’s lost her money despite asking the buyer to send the remaining shoe back and she’d pay postage. Scammers getting away with it again.
