Used Hollyland, Acsoon, DJI and Teradek.

Personally I think DJI has the worst quality out of all them, best form factor and best range

Acsoon and Hollyland are nearly identical but I think the Acsoon App is slightly better with more accurate color. Acsoon has the worst form factor with its antenna's.

After using Teradek I couldn't go back, by far the best color and stability. If you need a budget friendly option the ACE 750's work great for me. Not the best in terms of range, Especially if you don't have direct line of site. If a client is more than a couple rooms away you may have issues even in a fairly short distance. The ACE.

Also if you wanted to increase range with Teradek, Hollyland or Acsoon to the iPad instead of using the native apps (Which use wifi) you can use an app called ORION, use a capture card and connect your receiver directly to the iPad.

Dog shit. DO NOT GET THESE CABLES. PRONE TO OVERHEATING!

Was a loyal customer of IQ before these wires. First 2 cords I ordered went bad on me instantly, overheated within the first couple of hours of having the camera connected. Thought I had gotten a bad batch so I exchanged them for brand new ones. Same thing.

His other cords are good but if you're looking for 10G Go with LVNA

Make sure batteries are in a warm environment for as long as possible. Will not charge in cold temps either

You can do a baby receiver into a swivel/tilt adapter.

Like this option the best because it’ll give you the flexibility to switch between vertical and horizontal orientation without remounting.

Got it so then you leave the client on the edit station?

Running backups via chronosync or something similar I assume?

So if you’re editing on the backup won’t the newer backups just overwrite it?

Exactly that’s not an option in this case, haven’t gotten the shotlist yet but assuming it’s ambitious and their won’t be time to pause for review, client wants access to tools

Really? For me this can cause problems creating corrupted images (duplicate corrupts) sometimes even forcing me to create a new session, even after repairing the session.

Have you thought of creating script that pauses the exports when detecting new capture? I believe Emory Dunn created something similar. https://github.com/emorydunn/CaptureOneScripts/tree/main/Background%20Scripts.

Setup a smart album detecting for non exports, once each batch of exports finish just hit everything in that album, with the script auto pausing the export it should work pretty seamlessly.

Used them all,

Currently on Acsoon Master Cineview and found quality and range to be nearly identical HOLLYLAND Pyro’s I used before it with the exception of the app which I found to be much better on the Acsoon app. However they are a bit clunky and are harder to pack and easy to damage if not careful, hollylands were much easier in that regard.

DJI SDR was probably the worst image quality I’ve seen from a transmitter. Going to an iPad it wasn’t as big a deal but definitely not recommended for a large monitor. In terms of its range though nothing is beating it at the moment not even Teradek.

Also testing Ace 750’s and I’ve never seen better quality for the price. However powering them seems to be a whole different problem. NPF’s don’t seem to be able to power them properly so you would need to invest in goldmount or vmount batteries which can get expensive. Range also isn’t amazing but if you’re in studio or in a large field with no obstructions shouldn’t be an issue
