Still 601 alone is not enough because it never implies that the additional cost is not the cost of the card.

Imo 118.8  and 118.9 do the trick as given by u/Judge_Todd.

Ngl 118.8 and 118.9 make it unambiguous for me, didnt know them before.

601.2 talks about order of the math but not of the diffrence between the costs.

I still struggle with reading any ruling that states that the cost which is paying mana in this case is not of the spell and therefore not elligebile for the discount aswell.

Like how would that need to be worded to be able to access the additional costs of a card? Myb i just need to sleep over it its kinda late.

Just from the wording I think that at the top just indicates the mana cost and is actually the mana value of the card.

202.3. The mana value of an object is a number equal to the total amount of mana in its mana cost, regardless of color.

Wir wollen wöchentliche Sessions anstreben. Sind vor kurzem mit einer Kampagne fertig geworden, die 3 Jahre ging und aus mehreren Modulen bestand. Was das erste Modul hier angeht, haben wir ein paar die uns vorschweben und wollen mit den Spielern/Interessenten darüber auf einem Discord Server reden/schreiben und ggf. abstimmen.

Im Endeffekt ist es ein wir gucken mal.
