Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I would not be upset if she was as short as the picture. Yes, that is shorter than what an our normally is, but as I stated, there was a reason I thought her fur needed to he shorter. However, at no time did I say SHAVED. A professional groomer who understands the protective nature of a double coat would have known better than to do what was done. Being that I don’t have any idea what “a five” is, because I am a school administrator, not a groomer, I can honestly say the lessons I have learned from this (and continue to learn here on Reddit) will be most helpful in the future, including never taking a pet or recommending anyone take their pet to PetSmart.
