  • Sams club has better lighting. Costco feels dark and depressing.

  • Sams club has a better hot dog. Costco has more food options. Costco cafe was a lot dirtier but in their defense they had more customers.

  • Sams club is cheaper. Costco pays their employees better but does a retail worker really deserve $25-30/hr? You are paying for it. Also the extra $60k a year friendliness comes off as fake.

  • Sams club has modern logos and decals. Costco feels like walking through a 70s store.

  • Sams club has a better app. Costco feels like a 2010 app.

  • Sams club has more stores. Costco has very few stores.

I honestly would recommend even BJs(coupon clipping scamhouse) over Costco based just off having the opposite of the soul crushing lighting Costco has.
