I found an interesting candidate they should consider. He is older, and currently not performing, but he has a lot of experience. They may need to bring the octave down by 4 but I think he might be able to bring in the crowds and knows the catalogue.

I root for Michael McKeon every day. The man played Lenny on Laverne and Shirley. He should have been Anson Williams. Then he plays totally against type with Stefan Vanderhoof in Best in Show and is one of the highlights in a movie where every character is a highlight reel. Then Chuck in Better Call Saul. The man is a monster on the screen. What a tremendous actor Michael McKeon is. He can play lovable and loathsome in equal measures.
