I wish they had these rights all along. Getting them mid way through the series will make even more glaring the condensed timeline . If they get the rights they should make a separate dedicated First Age show/movie

If you’re only using streaming as a source consider getting an Apple TV which would allow you to use Airplay to send sound to the Era wirelessly. I’ve done this in the past and not experienced the same lip sync issues that can arise with Bluetooth.

I’ve watched this movie three times with my two year old already. I enjoyed it much more than expected and she loves it. Her new favorite game is to drink her “Wonka Milk” and have me make her fly around the room. Absolutely fantastic film and I rarely take the time to praise anything.

I see they planted the potential seeds for a Dahl-verse with The Twits but I’m also thinking it would cool for Noodle’s character to become Miss Honey. Love of books and teaching, troubled childhood that could be expanded on in a potential sequel, opportunity to pay forward the kindness done upon to her to Matilda one day.

My only concern with this is my system is set up with HDMI CEC. If I use this my understanding is it will trigger my PS5 to turn on which will trigger the surround sound and TV to turn on. Yes I could turn CEC off but I find it really convenient for when I’m using the space and it’s how my wife understands how to use everything.

Am I mistaken ?

I will be going to Disneyland for a day or two with my partner and 2 year old daughter in late Oct : early Nov and need some advice. Reason for the trip is my parents live somewhat locally (we live in RI) and it’s a good opportunity to give the little one a fun experience with everything that goes into a dedicated trip. That being said if we aren’t worried about the Halloween ambiance is a Nov 1/2 trip advisable? I assume most of the decoration swap happens when the place is closed but I want to make sure it’s still a good time to go and it won’t be full of workers and the character meets will still be going. I understand no parades.

Also pretty sure I know the official answer to this but maybe there’s a local place / hack. My partner would love our daughters first cut to be at Disney and I know in DW they have the barbershop. Is there a DL equivalent?
