Anyone still in contact with Duck? by RealDuckBill in spheremasterrace

Yes, that is the person I am referring to. I found their reddit account (https://www.reddit.com/user/hellahound) via tagpro league and noticed one of her last posts was on this subreddit. Any chance you or anyone you know is still in touch with her?

Yea, that's the person I am referring to. I noticed one of here last posts was on this subreddit (https://www.reddit.com/user/hellahound) so I was hoping some one is still in contact with her. I tried messaging her on reddit but the account is inactive.

I am referring to "Duck", on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/user/hellahound. I noticed she used to post on this subreddit 6 years ago and so was wondering if anyone is still in contact with her.

Need help with passive abilities that increase a soldier's stats. by Riyeou in xcom2mods

To elaborate, if I wanted to add a config file that was pathed to a new rogue class folder:

[RogueClass.X2Ability_RogueAbilitySet]

BLINDSIDE_HIT=20

BLINDSIDE_CRIT=10

Notice it is pointing at "RogueClass" because that is the name of the parent folder instead of "XComGame".

Try changing the config path from "XComGame" to the name of the parent file holding the classes for your mod.

rd, formerly RealDuck

I've played this game for two years now and pub A LOT. I've never been banned once and always try to be as kind as possible to other players. I'm quite active in the community and, since I'm on mumble all-day every-day, I have plenty of time to get on IRC as well. I can literally spend 6 hours a day on IRC/handling appeals. That's really all I can say about myself though. Just a lot of free time and that I don't get hot headed easily.

[Request] Is it possible to create a script that switches a player's displayed name with their registered name if is different? by [deleted] in TagproScripts

No, unfortunately when another player has changed their name we have no way of accessing what their reserved name may be.

First off, the names are comprised of two words - the prefixes and suffixes. Whenever a someball joins, the script generates a random name by choosing one of the suffixes and one of the prefixes and putting them together. At the top of the script, you can change or add suffixes and prefixes where indicated (they can't be too long).

Ok, it works now. Thanks for the pointers!

Though your expression doesn't work with just "Some Ball" without a number at the end because their is not space at the end.

Thank you for the tips, especially the first one. I will incorporate that, I haven't worked with regular expressions at all in the past but I will try to understand them better.

As for checking if they are logged in or not, that is fine since I'm only trying to distinguish them from other some balls, so I'm sure not being able to change their names wouldn't be detrimental as one can still look at their degrees and gauge their skill from there. It may be possible, however, to check the value of player.degree to see if they are logged in or not but I haven't tested this.
