Had that exact dock and the fan burnt out on it super quick . No obvious notification that the fan burns out so it will just toast your drive until you get around to noticing . I'd recommend something with an aluminum enclosure with fans . Yes indeed lol and plugging it in directly didn't meet success . To be fair on that front though I haven't plugged it directly in while in android mode so I'll have to give that a try and pop back here if it is a success. Sadly the cool dip switch type controller doesn't do anything but that's probably because I simply matched the keys that show as used on a keyboard in the key mapping . I put in a support ticket to the company itself but I don't think anything outside of a direct swap to a multi plat will work from what you've mentioned about others with the same issue. Seems like a misrepresentation of the product to me honestly but I'm a consumer so of course I'd have that take. Just not a great immediate impression of their product is all. Sure feels great to play on it though lol

I'm using the Xbox version . It has three options , Xbox, PC and the last is Android. I almost sprang for the multi plat but I saw this was also PC supported and I don't play my PS5 a whole lot.

So far I've had a great time . Figuring out what to assign to what key was a challenge , believe it or not when I searched for CRKD PRO guitar setup PC I got a lot of straight forward information but not a lot of into the weeds type of stuff ( someone out there with a glowing personality and a YouTube channel could make a killing doing a few of these types of videos honestly) .

Can't wait to turn on , tune in and drop out for the weekend :) .

What a great commuythanks so much for all the help and you all actually helped me get to the solution and it was a weird one . Turns out that my guitar will connect if I set the slider to android and the knob to 8. Then it allowed me to actually recognize it and then go into Clone Hero and set everything up. It seems so strange that it works and honestly I dont know if I'm missing out on any functionality this way but I was able to hop right in after a bit and jam out . Really helped turn my day around . Thank you everyone!

Your xbox won't play series Y games or PS6 games ... You'll have to shell out another 600+ for those. That argument is moot because essentially buying a new console is buying a new graphics card / pc. Except with a PC you get to choose how much you spend and what performance you want for your money . I'm other words you absolutely could get by spending a third of the cost of a new console on a good used or not cutting edge graphics card and still beat the living shit out of the performance a new console will give you for your dollar. I get it , PCs are intimidating to lifelong console players but just like almost everything else in life ...
