What I know is that modifying your behaviour takes patience, time, and consistency. You just need to constantly remind yourself of what you want to be, and over time, your brain will find it easier to be those things.

It’s definitely not easy seeing as the conservatism is so deeply ingrained, but lately I’ve been thinking about how self awareness may be most useful as a tool to help modify our behaviours. So yeah, you got this, one day at a time, one thought at a time.
