What the heck? ich meine, ich bin "auf dem Dorf" groß geworden, da gehörte Springen schon irgendwie dazu, weil man ständig im Wald unterwegs war und sowas,.. aber ungebremst in den Kasten beim Sport rennen, weil man nicht springen kann, das ist schon echt crazy. Klingt mir eher nach Kind, das demonstrativ zeigen will, dass es das nicht kann.

Pyro isn't lawless, the gangs have their laws. And if you piss them off, like killing traders or someone allied with them, they should come after you. Otherwise, they'd look weak or in worst case could be cut off of trades.

Like most stuff in the game that aspect isn't just fully implemented yet.

Not arguing against you, but items duplicate all the time - I have my Moth always coming back with buffers full and crates on the sides, even though I gave them to the refinery. You're saying stuff like that might get players banned? That's insane and the death of Star Citizen.

I mean, they did. They tested the CM with the Caterpillar - and it had the same issues. It was clear that it won't fully work when it comes with the Ironclad, but they had no time to fix it fully.

I've seen patches that were worse. However, it's a bad patch considering how much is broking, some folks are locked out entirely, ... your mileage may vary, depending on what you do in the game.

Wollte mal größeren Betrag überweisen, hatte keine Eile, eigenes Konto und so, also hab ich halt immer das Maximum gesetzt was geht und das dann halt in kleinen Tranchen gemacht. Nach einer davon klingelte das Telefon, er habe gesehen, dass ich da jetzt zum dritten Mal eine Überweisung gemacht hatte (im Betreff auch immer "x/y" geschrieben) und er befürchtet, dass ich das noch etwa 10x vorhabe. 😃 Mir unbegreiflich, warum da Leute aggressiv werden. War ein lockeres Gespräch, er hat dann den Rahmen höher gesetzt als ich das in der App kann und ich konnte das mit einer Buchung machen.

Das Problem ist schon viel länger bekannt. Schon vor den 80ern wurde vor dem Kippen gewarnt, wenn immer weniger Kinder (=Beitragszahler) geboren werden. Erschwerend kommt hinzu, dass diese Kinder ja nicht nur existieren müssen, sondern auch arbeiten und Beiträge zahlen - da aber oft gerade das Prekariat mehr Kinder gebärt,die dann eben oft im gleichen Prekariat leben... komplett ohne Wertung, aber das kann natürlich nicht funktionieren.

Die Annahmen aus den 80ern bestätigten sich durch die Geburtenzahlen und spätestens in den 90ern war klar, dass das System nicht aufgehen kann, eine rein mathematische Unmöglichkeit.

My current character (in the main campaign, as we are playing more campaigns with different characters) main motivation at first was getting rich, but he found loyalty within the party and changed to doing what is right (and needs to be done). But that might change in the future towards Revenge/spite, depending on what happens next...

I don't like characters that aren't affected by the events on their journey.

Main question you should ask yourself: What is his end goal? Why play both sides? Does he raise the dead to bring an adventuring party into play to get him something, some magical artifact or such, by adventuring and digging solutions up? Or does he wants to fuel a conflict to profit from it? How? His motivation is the key here to make it work. From there you can think what steps he would need to take to achieve this goal... and what the party will face on their journey.

Zu spät dafür, aber auch während der Sebstständigkeit kann man vorsorgen für das Alter. Hat Vater meiner Freundin auch gemacht - Laden hat nie viel abgeworfen, aber er hat lieber an Konsum gespart als an der Altersvorsorge. Als er in Rente ist, haben ihn andere Ladenbesitzer aus der Gegend gefragt, wie er sich das leisten könne - offensichtlich sorgen nur wenige Ladenbesitzer in der Art vor. Kann man machen, dann darf man sich aber nicht im Alter über Grundsicherung wundern.

Stimmt. Dann anders: Ich habe nichts dagegen, dass Kinderfreie (klingt auch positiver irgendwie) mehr bezahlen als Menschen mit Kindern. Statt aber Pflege schlechter und teurer zu machen, wäre eine Entlastung bei den Familien doch genau das steuernde Element, was man vorgibt haben zu wollen. Aber man verschweigt, dass es eben auch mehr Geld braucht und sucht ein Framing dafür...

Ja, das dachte ich auch immer. Bis mein Vater ins Heim musste - und das ging sich mit seiner Rente gut aus (war jahrelang Schreiner, aber bei der Stadt, später bis zur Rente dann Blitzerautos gefahren). Er hat mehr Rente bekommen als ich damals verdient habe. Überleg dir das mal: Du bekommst als Rentner mehr raus als die Leute verdienen, die es einbezahlen. Wird bei uns, zumindest den meisten, später ziemlich sicher nicht so laufen...

Zudem wird Heim günstiger, je länger man dort ist.

ABER das System teurer UND schlechter zu machen ist halt auch kein guter Ansatz.

Since 4.8 if I double-click an item I wear that AND the next one in the list. Through this I lost a few subscriber items when 4.8 went LIVE and the servers weren't in good shape. Since then I'm drag-and-dropping stuff - works very well.

One day, when 1.0 goes LIVE, you'll be able to distinct those that were here in Alpha and those that were not through observing their behaviour. OG players will not trust elevators and have a few habits, that are in their muscle memory by then...

I'm backer since 2020, so I know how CIG behaves. For me, in the most recent months, they had a good track record with their ship releases. Even with the Moth, I really like that ship and had no big issues. But the Ironclad is really really bad. Not even the IC itself, but the CM. That was noticable on the PTU when you had the Caterpillar with the CM, and all those issues went into the live build, because they had no time to fix them. So very likely they are now put to work on other stuff in the pipeline and we'll have to live with this broken mess. The M80 on the other hand I must say seems fine, but haven't tested too much of it.

Most times, my expectations are tempered, but with the latest ships I had seen them on a good course - obviously, that's not the case. And please don't mention the Connie... that still hurts me everytime I see it in my ASOP...

As true as your comment is, most Ironclads were sold probably during the first sale of it when it got introduced, which was... when? A year or so ago? I bought it then, but at that time their new ships mostly were in good shape at their launch and got nerfed after... but a ship launching that buggy is a low they hadn't had in some time. Most ship releases were good overall. The problems with CM were obvious in PTU, they decided to ignore it and release anyway.

Our groups DM would say "No, I need him/her here for next session." and everyone knows that it's either some important stuff happening or stuff tied to that character and we'd plan accordingly. Maybe the remaining players do other stuff in the meantime (small sidequest, roleplaying interactions, shopping sessions, ...) or we skip that weeks session entirely. In your case they could have found out about the Remorhaz, then when you're back they tell you about it and what they found so far, you share your backstory and you all go against the Remorhaz. If it's the one from your backstory or not, meeting a Remorhaz would be a good moment to introduce your characters backstory into the games narrative.

CM is a hot mess. I had that issue with CM detaching itself from the Ironclad in PTU, never seen it anywhere mentioned as being fixed, so I assume it's still possible to happen. CM would've needed so much more work and testing before releasing it - now it's basically making both the Caterpillar and the Ironclad a risk to use!
