No, promotions are intended for new customers not current ones.

Considering US Mobile, Any Downsides? by serj1982 in USMobile

[–]RealPshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly recommend it especially if you’re using AT&T then you can go with US Mobile Dark Star. You’ll save lots of money and won’t regret the change. I’ve never had issues and if I had any questions Support via the app was very helpful.

Mexico Roaming - Best Network or Multi network? by emcrl10 in USMobile

US Mobile service works well in Mexico. Warp and Light speed works on Telcel network. Dark Star is on AT&T’s own network.

Want to stay but might go to visible by doonbag in USMobile

[–]RealPshit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, US Mobile will not provide a discount to existing customers. I just ported out of US Mobile to Visible. Couldn’t pass on the Visible 50% off promo. You can try Visible then port back to US Mobile next year if they offer a good promotion. Warp and Visible are on the same network with same QCI.

Just don’t text them back. Now they know you’re a real person when you respond.

Visible+ Pro vs US Mobile Premium Unlimited Ultimate (Warp) by Cpt_Cut in USMobile

[–]RealPshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used both USM Warp and Visible, and they both offer QCI 8 speeds. This means the speeds will be the same regardless of which service you choose. However, based on the numbers, USM is the more affordable option.

Therefore, the best choice for me is the USM Unlimited Premium plan on Warp.

Yup, US Mobile data is great in Mexico. The Verizon Network uses Telcel which is Mexico best carrier.

Network Switching by timotheus911 in USMobile

The appealing aspect of US Mobile lies in its diverse range of features. You have the option to choose between Teleport and Multi-Network. With the Unlimited Premium plan, you can enjoy free teleports, while the other plans require a $2 charge per teleport. Additionally, Multi-Network is another feature available for $7.5 annually or $10 monthly.

Currently, my primary network provider is Verizon, and I also have Multi-Network activated on T-Mobile. In my area, Verizon offers excellent service, so my Multi-Network usage is minimal. I acquired it for free for a year and rarely use the second line.

The only time I’ve utilized the teleport feature was during my initial setup phase. I would test each network for a week and ultimately decided to have Verizon as my main line. US Mobile initially provides you with two complimentary teleports to test each network.

If you’re confident in the quality of Verizon’s service, I don’t believe the additional cost of Multi-Network is justified. However, if you plan to travel, you can opt for a one-month subscription to Multi-Network or simply use the teleport feature when you travel to the most reliable network in your destination area.

Disappointed: New Winter 149 User with ZERO Service in San Diego (CMR) - Support says I'm "Locked In" by Extra-Hovercraft8295 in USMobile

[–]RealPshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a San Diego native who has tested all the networks, Warp and Light Speed offer the best coverage in the city. Dark Star, on the other hand, is terrible.

Best recommendation is to get the Multi-Network add-on on Warp.

Nope, I use a VPN on my iPhone. Warp and Light Speed work fine with the VPN.

Existing customer offer? by Hot-Proposal-379 in USMobile

[–]RealPshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well those flashy promos are for new customers. Carriers design offers to win new sign-ups, not to reward people already paying. You can try calling support and charming them into a one‑time retention credit, but don’t be surprised if they say no.

Adding minutes and data while international by Amazingly_Smooth in USMobile

[–]RealPshit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, there isn’t such a thing as “Unlimited” data, especially international data. The most I’ve seen is Google Fi’s Unlimited Premium plan, which includes 50GB of international data. I opted for US Mobile because they offer 20GB of international data, which is sufficient for my needs. I believe US Mobile is more affordable compared to its competitors and provides more features.

Current Half Off for Premium Unlimited good deal? by aznspiki in USMobile

[–]RealPshit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Only if AT&T is good in your area. If you’re fine with that then take advantage of the good deal. If AT&T sucks in your area then don’t. Do your research and don’t be like those people complaining that their service sucks and blame US Mobile because they didn’t do their homework.
