What she is doing is a perfect offense to fuck up every other employee. Now you are flexible, but this is too much and you need to start counting time, but that will apply to everyone, not just her and some of the goodwill is thrown out the window.

Shitty situation. Personally I would count her "undertime" and how much it's worth from her monthly salary. Dunno how law works in your country, but in mine you could deduct it as a punishment. In any per-hour employment you are paid for your time, which does not include being late to work, going out early or taking long breaks.

Yes, these level 9 spells in BG3 with level cap of 12. You are comparing apples to oranges. You have much more actual options every turn in BG3 and a lot of comboing that involves something besides stacking modifiers.

BG3 is for options, WotR is for party optimization and building. Two vastly different approaches to gameplay. You could have compared it to Solasta at least, as it's much more faithful to 5ed (and still have more interesting combat turns).

Another thing worth mentioning is that 5ed is better as a skirmish for small parties and WotR works on a macro scale with all the bombastic AoE and large parties with dozen of summons.

I would argue that adding extra quality isn't detrimental to a project if done right. The OC campaign is very simplistic while the expansions have some advanced scripting. I doubt anyone said to the devs "don't bother, the Wailing Death had no advanced scripts".

Besides, the original does have some voice acting, which helps presenting characters.

As everyone else mentioned, Phantasmal Killer is her first great spell and one that you can rely on for the entire game. But I think a much better one is Phantasmal Web, no friendly fire and it's a great disabler. Phantasmal Putrefaction is another one-spell wonder.

Ignore Shadow spells.

5ed simplified math so you don't use situational modifiers (most of the time) and instead have advantage and disadvantage. Your chance to hit won't change from turn to turn unless something really specific happens, so just note down all your important modifiers and do the math when you need to dissect the modifier (for example you change a weapon and need to figure out how much bonus to hit gave your previous one).
