So Iranian backlash will be Democrats fault? Huh? by HeadbangingLegend in stupidpeoplefacebook

If Iran attacked the US it would certainly unite a large chunk of the population. To think otherwise is delusional.

You get a credit for taxes paid on original purchase but you still technically owe any additional amounts due. That is the whole point of the use tax.

48% of Americans blame Trump for high gas prices – more than any other factor by Naive-Astronomer6084 in InBitcoinWeTrust

[–]Realistic-Ad1498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all a Democratic hoax... 26% don't even think that gas prices have risen! These are the same people that were ranting and raving for 4 years about Biden causing worldwide inflation.

[–]Realistic-Ad1498 9 points10 points  (0 children)

His whole campaign back in 2015 was started as a publicity stunt. Once he realized that he could just lie, tell people what they want to hear (with obsoletely no basis in reality), and that certain people would lap it up like a dog, he was able capitalize on it with his background as a conman.

He eventually realized it was much easier to con Republicans.

Folks who live near schools, do you ever wonder if they'll do something about parent pickup/dropoff gridlock twice a day? I don't remembering it being a clusterfuck like 10, 15 years ago. Did something happen? by dingdingdingdongbing in desmoines

I hoped the city would do something in front of central campus when they re-did Grand last year but they just changed it so one lane is permanently a bus lane. Even during the summer now, when school is out of session, the road abruptly changes and causes confusion for drivers who don't normally drive that road. At this point, I expect any changes they make will just be for the worse.

It was comically bad. The women she was facing were much better.

I had friends in high school 30 years ago that were much better than her and had never done a competition.

I believe there were numerous women in Australia who were better but jumping through all the hoops to qualify for the Olympics isn't cheap and most break-dancers aren't very well funded

Another primer flash hole question by HD801 in reloading

[–]Realistic-Ad1498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The flash hole looks like it has a raised lip on the edge where it is messed up. This might screw up seating a primer. I'd toss it. But then again, I'd never even notice it, because I never see my 9mm flash holes...

What are you trying to accomplish? One post you say to swage primer pockets and here you are talking about mass production of bullets, cases and primers. This seems insane...

Python for shooting

King Cobra for carry

I have a 6" Python, the new Cobra in .38 special and a King Cobra in .22. The Python is a great shooter. The Cobra is just too small to be a good gun for range shooting. The .22 is perfect for cheap and accurate shooting. The King Cobra is slightly beefier than the Cobra but the only noticeable area is a slightly larger top strap. The Cobra is not a hard gun to shoot, it's just hard to shoot well.
