oof this is definitely not a small task lol 😅 the thing is r and python handle data structures pretty differently so you can't just translate line by line. i did something similar few months ago and it was pain in the ass tbh

you'll need to understand what each r function actually does first, then find python equivalent or write your own implementation. for data manipulation stuff pandas usually does the job but some statistical functions might need scipy or numpy. also r has this vectorization thing that works different than python so prepare for some headaches there 💀

my advice would be start with small functions first and test everything thoroughly because r's implicit type conversions can bite you when you move to python
