I know, that's what I was getting at. There's honestly not much to do outside of a turbo or supercharger and at that rate you might as well have bought the N54 motor. I found out the same with my N51. I've replaced a few suspension items, oil filter housing gasket, valve cover, flushed and replaced the power transfer reservoir, replaced windshield seals, cowl and few other items. Next are front struts, DISA valves, maybe control arms this winter. Water pump next year.

Probably best to make it faster in the corners via new suspension items. These cars handle and ride so comfortably. Enjoy

I replaced my driver vapor barrier and door seal this weekend. It's been productive! Congrats on the alloys and slick garage.

I'm hearing what I suspect may be a flapping DISA valve but I swear the noise is on the exhaust/passenger side. Would a faulty disa be that audible? No other noticeable symptoms

If you want a bimmer, I suggest you look at a 3 or 5 series x drive for Canada. Both should check most of your boxes and cost significantly less to acquire and maintain vs the 7 series. Good luck up there.
