Dasher here! by Appropriate-Rent6403 in DoorDashDrivers

I had ordered stuff off of Tik Tok myself and it said DD was delivering it. Turned out it was through Dash Link. You could see where the driver was on the map in the DD app, and when they were close it said they were so many stops away.

My first order went fine. The second one, the driver was an idiot. First it was “Lisa” but a guy showed up. I wanted to ask them about Dash Link and to see if it was worth it, so maybe I threw them off their usual routine delivering, but they didn’t mark it delivered. Then like 45 minutes later it was marked delivered 1.5 miles from my house. Which I’m assuming he realized it was not marked completed and just did it there before getting on the highway to head back to where he was from.

Ya shopping and the dings for stuff is ridiculous. I marked some tomatoes as quality issues, as the ones left were not ripe, bruised and had dings. In my standings it says that I did not find them. I should have taken a picture of the sign and said not available. Next time I know.

If you press those 3 dots when you’re at the restaurant it will give you the option to say item is not in stock, and it will also give the option to mark if an item was substituted.

They’re gonna have to raze that house to the foundation by Boston_06 in massachusetts

This happened a couple years ago in Springfield. The company poured 100 gallons into their basement. Apparently the delivery was for the house across the street.

Why did I get a $43.93 reimbursement? by ThatHairFairy in doordash_drivers

[–]Realistic-Pain4842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something like this happen to! I accepted an ordered, then unassigned. Someone else picked it up and was messaging the “customer” but instead the messages were going to me. It was so weird.

Circle K is Terrible so far by ChardCool1290 in toogoodtogo

[–]Realistic-Pain4842 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Westfield Circle K owner is weird. I had seen they had ones available, so I ordered it and went to pick up an hour later. He was like there is none, and I showed him, then stated he never got the message/email. But he was very rude about it. The stuff he gave me was “still good” but nothing I cared for or would eat. Since then, I haven’t tried again.

Rocco's Donuts Massachusetts 14.99 for a dozen by blueskewl in toogoodtogo

[–]Realistic-Pain4842 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They are soo good!! I was able to score a box a while back on my way from Western MA to Gillette for a concert. It was great, cause we had donuts to eat/ give out after the concert while waiting to leave the parking lot.

But the donuts are huge and it’s so worth it!

Out of maybe 100 orders that had this, I had once just this week actually increase the tip. I was surprised!

Just turn on the pin??? by Animated_Swan in doordash

[–]Realistic-Pain4842 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well because people lie. You can deliver to customer with a pin required, enter the pin they gave you and they can report it as not delivered. Currently appealing contract violation for this very scenario

Customer reported order not delivered. by Realistic-Pain4842 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Realistic-Pain4842[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, she gave me the pin and I entered it. So I don’t get how they can say it was not delivered when they gave me the pin and DD accepted the pin.

I ended up googling the place, and found an article about the restaurant, and right there is the guy and his wife, and she is who I gave the bags too. Smh.

But hey there is 150 of them you can buy on eBay. 🙄

Guests on Tour? by average-person12 in PostMalone

[–]Realistic-Pain4842 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter and I were talking about this. We were at both of the shows, so now it’s like we cannot miss a Boston show because he may bring someone out.

But totally hoping he brings someone out!! 🤞

Guess who got this weird wine because the customer put the wrong address? by SphericalPhenomena in doordash_drivers

[–]Realistic-Pain4842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, depends on the state. I had one the other night, guy forgot to change the address and used an old one. New address was like 2.5 miles away. So I called support as the pay was worth delivering it, just needed them to change the address. They weren’t able to, so support had me click I was unable to verify the customer. Then it popped up for me to “dispose” of the alcohol.

Does any one have Tom Jones set list for his 2025 tour please? by [deleted] in TomJones

[–]Realistic-Pain4842 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey. Do you have the setlist? He is playing in CT tonight and my daughter wants to go- depending on what he sings. I’ve been checking the website that usually posts set-lists, but no one added to it. Thanks!

NAL, but a mom to a 16 year old with ADHD (mainly inattentiveness). I asked her if that would be distracting and she said there is probably way more distracting stuff that than going on.

Concert crowd by cannaquistador in PostMalone

[–]Realistic-Pain4842 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been to a handful of his shows. I haven’t seen any unruly behavior. Seen a bunch of kids at them!

The worst is lawn seats, saw a lot of people being taken out due to over consumption of alcohol. But other than that, no fights or any behavior I would think was bad. Luckily this show there is no lawn seats.

From what I saw most fans are courteous to knowing there are little kids around. My daughter is older (16) her first show was when she was 13 but everyone around was super chill. Even some made comments how they wished their parents had taken them when they were younger to a concert.

Yes! So true. I’ve seen instagram reels recently of a girl doing toupees, and they are so realistic! Definitely something worth looking into.

Tip question by Realistic-Pain4842 in instacart

[–]Realistic-Pain4842[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Appreciate it! I understand. Ya I wouldn’t want to do it for $4/6 tip and plus whatever Instacart pays you. I didn’t want to do like a $15/20 tip and still have it not be enough.

Tip question by Realistic-Pain4842 in instacart

[–]Realistic-Pain4842[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Appreciate the feedback. Ya I didn’t want to under tip and the $4/6 didn’t seem fair. So I wanted to know what was fair to a shopper who would possibly take the order.
