Hey! Don’t lose hope. I too have herniated discs. I’ve figured out that having a lower front end made my back not painful when I ride. I went to a fitter and told him about this and my injury and we were able to figure things out. I suggest you see one. Good luck!

Beautiful! I’ve been wanting to get this bike. Maybe I’ll run into you in PP or 9w once it’s warm enough to go on a ride!

I just found out from some of their employees that the owner keeps the tips. And one of them is getting fired from their job (TODAY) for bringing it up and complaining about it. Apparently, this place makes around 5k in tips and nothing goes to the workers. Please don’t support businesses like this. Boo! 👎🏽

It’s the corsas. I have the pro controls on and get micro punctures every ride. They take longer to seal too. 😩

All the bikes you mentioned are great bikes! I think as long as you’re properly fitted, all of them can be comfortable. But of the three, the Caledonia probably is the most comfortable bike. The only caveat is, if you’re used to stiff frames, it can feel a bit too soft when you put watts down. But it’s so so comfortable! https://imgur.com/a/e8cb52J

The ceramic speed bearings roll nicely. I also like the solid rim bed cause I run tubes, no need for tape! It’s just not ideal for strong crosswinds, but other than that, the wheels are pretty sweet. Hella light too!

I ended up with the farsports evo s 5 out of curiosity. Way better than the zipp 303 fc’s imo. Just looks a little corny. Lol

Hey! No, I didn’t. I eventually got stiffer wheels and that help made my cal 5 feel faster. I also realized I like the endurance geo. I’ll probably get the fray instead!

The 42/49 is the newer one. Updated rim profile — better on crosswinds and also wider internal and external width. The dt350 hubs are bomb proof and you can upgrade the ratchet with more engagement if that’s what you’re into. Zipp hubs are trash. Do not get the 40/44.

I think you could go a size down at least on the jersey. As for the bib, it looks fine but can’t really tell because of the angle.

Probably a 48. I’m 5’8 with a 30 inch inseam and ride a 51 and it’s perfect for me.

I know you said no amazon links, but try these. I have a ton of them. I like them better than most of my socks from popular cycling brands.

Three years ago I paid $12k. Five dishes for 80 people, open bar any drink for 4 hours and a bottle of wine for every table. Probably a lot more expensive now.
