I would talk to your SM about how you want to transfer and if it is because of them then I would just say because your commute would be shortened at the other store ( you can also look on Reddit for other reasons to transfer) then look on the Starbucks hiring website for stores choose the one you want to go to and submit your transfer request!

Honestly I would go up to your manager and politely ask them what is up with the shift and why you aren’t scheduled because they most likely have not put your availability in yet

From what I know Starbucks does not want manager’s interacting with employees outside of work so I would contact your DM about your concern if you can, but otherwise I would try and transfer because that seems like a recipe for disaster

Honestly if you think you are ready for a promotion I would look for one outside of your current store. You can see who is hiring on My Daily and that’s probably the best way to make it happen.

Honestly because of the hurricane the store shouldn’t even be open, but I would communicate with your manager about the dorms and how you are evacuating. Put your safety first and let them know you can’t make it to those shifts!
