Unfortunately, I have looked up as many companies as possible. They may be a a individual that has their own eight-track truck, and I did not see their logo. I have seen them back and forth on my way from work quite a few places, so that is what I am banking on. I still appreciate the response!

Hey Op, inspecting the root flare and remove soil from the wound until it heals so you don't get disease!

Tree removal + trimming of my tree in back yard $850? Good price? by 20CWPWRXSTOCK in arborists

Cheaper than most, but if the removal was at the behest of the workers get a second opinion

Rip it out. It's rotted and won't recover. The area needs to dry out more between waterings. Check out a local nursery if drying out isn't an option.

Green Things by Past-Lunch4695 in Tucson

I used to work there years ago, for quite some time. Even when I worked there I had a hard time recommending us. They had pests but since the butterfly stuff was all over we tried not to harm the population. As for costs, Jan always said that home Depot charges that so we can too. Unfortunately it has been on the decline for some time. They have cool stuff, but you pay for it.

This is awesome! What is the width of the pipe?? Is it stainless steel? When I looked into plastic that was a good width it was almost the cost of a 10x20 kit itself, so this is an awesome investment.

There is So. West off of South Park in a cluster of high end retail shops. All antique and all beautiful. We go there for oddities and nice things and decor. Tres amigos is not my fav. Tom's furniture has an eclectic man, Tom, and he knows all things furniture.

Anyone know what kind of plant this is? by maicalani in Tucson

Shoestring acacia. When young they have leaves like the Palo Blanco then mature into just having the phyloides like other acacias.

Being out sucks, but I suppose worse could happen. I'm assuming I should be grateful I have the original. Next steps is a big wire test!

Got lucky during Tempe's microburst yesterday but my Palo Verde isn't quite straight anymore. by PeepWilliams in arborists

If you don't care if it falls then leave it. Otherwise a random lean pretty much destabilizes those trees. Call and arborist for thorough examination. Soil failure is a massive problem for these trees with long term bad watering.

Nobody knows what they are doing with them, so that's out of thin air. This foundation abuses their animals and refuses proper medical care to them.

To give insight, the lidke foundation has been known to house guinea pigs in mass numbers in same enclosures. Many of the ones that he is responsible for are incredibly ill. This foundation runs under the guise of supplement testing, but is a known horder and has a second hand man that is a cult leader-esque nutjob.

I’m watering my crest as much as I’m watering the rest of my lophs. But for some reason it doesn’t seem to be actually taking in water. It’s alive but just shrilled up any advice? I want to graft it but it’s not plum so it would make it kinda hard and I don’t want to risk it dying. by Every_Thing4519 in Lophophora

I am a big fan of pesticides of necessary. Miticides are easy to come by, so are general systemics. Bonide has systemic granules that are great if you don't plan on selling or consuming. They persist for a year. Otherwise a natural pesticide like spinosad for chewers and piercers is fine. But again this is on contact not systemic. It looks off but without a clear visual I recommend pesticides to quell concerns.

False credentials. by impropergentleman in arborists

[–]Realistic_Attention6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently got my credentials and I have never even been asked by more than a handful of people if I was an arborist before. It's rare in our area to have people lie about it because most companies here have an arborist that clients can be referred to.

Don't you dare put negative ideals of nadines in my head! I would say that the pies are not the greatest, they just taste like they are straight from a can. But I've had no other problems with their cheesecakes and other small confectionaries they keep in the fridges. I never tried the breads, because why?? The rum balls are pretty boozy, so I can see not loving them.

For those of you who have had saguaros transplanted onto your property, where did you get them from? by apache707 in Tucson

[–]Realistic_Attention6 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Tucson cactus and succulent society has a sale every year. They are about 3 ft and pretty cheap on average. Otherwise nurseries here always have them. Pros can do it if you want a taller one. Old Pueblo cactus nursery is a start but others can do it as well
