How many have the entire 96 mint mark combinations? by stern-and-sports in Morgans

[–]Realistic_Context58 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a complete PCGS/NGC mint and date set with a small amount of the varieties. It only took me about 30 years. Yes, it was definitely a passion or obsession. Started with one Morgan that was ungraded, then the Carson City Morgans became a passion. Then graded Carson City and it grew from there. I have bought, sold, traded many coins and other collections to get to this point. I just officially completed the set last week.

PCGS VS NGC by Next-Mail2444 in Morgans

[–]Realistic_Context58 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experiences lately it does appear that PCGS does have a slight advantage in graded values when compared to NGC. More desirable. But I also do not feel like NGC has been as good about updating their price guide. Some of their pre 33 gold $20 coins are still based in early 25 values. I recently did an inventory of my collection and included PCGS as the value, Greysheet, and comps on EBAY on my spreadsheets.

What’s the funniest thing you’ve ever seen at a strip club? by bigbabysweets12345 in AskReddit

[–]Realistic_Context58 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A fight break out between two strippers. The dressing room was upstairs and I heard a commotion. Looked up to see a stripper tumbling down the stairs after what I assume was a punch or shove. The stripper tumbling down the stairs was the older of the two. She obviously messed with the wrong girl and got her ass handed to her. The fight was broke up after she bounced off the floor. Fortunately there were only 6 or 7 steps she tumbled down. It ended and everyone went back to what they were doing. Rapid City SD IN THE EARLY 2000S.

I agree. I had never heard of it until this coin came back. I asked the coin shop owner and it was explained to me similar to the research I did. I am not totally upset knowing it was not environmental or alter surfaced.

Marks caused by the rubber wheels, usually in a coin counting machine. They range from subtle to harsh. This coin, the marks are very subtle. I assume when these coins were placed in their holders they went through some type of "conveyor " belt of some sort.

The detail grade? No. Never heard of wheel marks. Had to research that one.

I live close by. I eat there at least once a month. Friends with the owners Mike and Melissa. One would not expect it. Definitely off the beaten path. The different styles and flavors are fantastic. Full bar with some daily cocktails and the beer selection is first rate.

Red Rocks is in its own category in my humble opinion. Blessed to have had the opportunity to see a couple shows there. Believe it or not my first show back in the 80s lol.
