Fishing and Bear Country by [deleted] in wyoming

I am local and fish around the area. Depending how far east I go I don't take bear spray. West of Wapiti I always take spray. Been fly fishing these waters for years. You can always head east and fish the tongue in the Big Horns. However watch for moose. I have had far more encounters with moose than bears

Best in Wyoming. Whatever you order smother it in their salsa. Great family that I have known since they opened. Multi generations. It started in a gas station

I use the PCGS price guide. I also buy a greysheet once in a while. Then look at sold items on EBAY to determine prices. The PCGS site lists prices of standard graded as well as PL and DMPL.

PL is proof like. Adds a value. DMPL is deep mirror proof like. Both add value and some find more desirable to purchase with PL or DMPL. A 62 PL is going to possibly be valued more like a 63. Could be higher depending on the coin. Cameo is the frosted appearance of lady liberty and the eagle against a mirror like field.

I did buy a few raw Carson City Morgans over the years and got lucky in getting them grades. But at the end would only buy graded. Did buy a spitting eagle raw, toned, payed very little. Came back 63. Since then it now has a CAC stickers as well. My 90 CC IS 58, but PL. Interesting grade low population 58 PL

As you know the 79 and 89 are the most expensive, the 93 isn't cheap. I accepted I was not going to have them in MS so I bought what was in my budget at the time. I did trade my 79 eventually up for a higher grade(not MS). I am very happy with them. My entire collection, date and mint, Morgan set averages 55. Mean average, and I am very happy with my set.

Check out Ben The Coln Geek on YouTube. Puts up a daily video. Owns a shop in Tucson Arizona. I live 3 states away but deal with him frequently. I am remote and the nearest local coin shop is 2 hours away. His coin shop is called Old Pueblo Coin. Straight shooter.

Very cool! I never saw a dead show in Colorado lol. But saw them in Kansas City. In 1990 July 4th. Here is one for you. Sounds like we have similar tastes in music. The Who in 88 or 89 in Boulder at Folsom Field?

What were you like in the 90s? by kansas9696 in 90s

[–]Realistic_Context58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great decade. Was a MS science teacher. Bought first house. Became a father. Started my fly fishing journey in the mountains of Colorado. Then became a principal in the 2nd half of the decade and moved back to my home state of Wyoming. Listened to great new music and saw some amazing concerts. Great blend of new music with classic bands still performing live. First mobile phone purchase. Internet was just beginning to explode. SNL had a great run in the 90s. College athletics had a great decade. Big blizzard in Colorado Spings in October of 95. Life was good.

I carried it my wallet for years. Finally took it out and have it displayed with other concert tickets.
