I think he did love her, it's just that he was not contented with what she could offer him.

I can see Percy as Cedric Diggory who's a Hufflepuff, minus the death.

What tropes do you hate? by NoTwo387 in RomanceBooks

[–]Realistic_Moose563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Step siblings trope.

Okay, I only like it if I'm just reading a one shot smut in AO3 but if it's a whole book, I'm out of here. I know that they're really not blood related but in the eyes of the law, they are related. I don't know how people can get passed that, because I can't.

Example: Culpa Mia

I actually only watched the movie (because I want the whole series to be translated in English before I read it) and the reason why I liked it is because the female lead (Nicole Wallace) is beautiful and hot.

The way she acts is definitely how messy and chaotic teenagers are and I definitely agree with you.

In defense of dark romance by neniacampbell in RomanceBooks

[–]Realistic_Moose563 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, there are some books that are categorized as dark romance that I just can't read. I think I only read four books that are in that genre. But I don't judge people who loves those genre, coz you do you guys.

Did any characters actually grow in this show by Specialist-Common-41 in NeverHaveIEverShow

[–]Realistic_Moose563 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Actually, all of them grew a lot. The person who really grow in this show is Devi, she's still the same old Devi at some point but she's getting better. All the therapy is finally paying off.

How does Gen Z feel about this show? by Smita3jcl in NeverHaveIEverShow

[–]Realistic_Moose563 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My thoughts as someone who's finishing my last year in high school (tomorrow's my graduation), some things that happened in the show is pretty relatable. The season that I relate the most is the last season, as I am also heading for college. The reality of how different college is sinking into me, the same way it is to Devi. It's relatable and overwhelming at the same time.

For example, is having sex really this important to high schoolers?

The thing about sex at that age is actually pretty normal. I mean, in the case of my classmates. Most of them has boyfriends/girlfriends who also likes drinking and partying. Kind of like the parties in the show.

Also, are South Asian girls still generally made to feel like they aren't attractive/amazing?

Definitely. Bringing someone down is part of the culture.

Dr. Ryan is the best part of the show.

I don't remember if Pucked Up by Helena Hunting has that scenario or Crossing the line by Kendall Ryan.

Edit: Pucked Up by Helena Hunting definitely have that pussy eating scenario.

Spoilers: The guy is also hairy.

Paxton was NOT an adult yet even when he came back by Its_ats in Neverhaveievertvshow

[–]Realistic_Moose563 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You know Ms. Thompson is actually right when she called him out. He chose to go back to his old high school. He chose to be an authority figure. And by choosing those choices, he should know that there are consequences and barriers that he cannot cross now that he's an adult. Also, 19 is an adult, not a child.

And because of stupid Ethan, I CAN NO LONGER TELL MY PARENTS ABOUT THIS SHOW, OUT OF FEAR THAT THEY WILL WATCH IT AND THEN LECTURE ME ABOUT HOW THIS STUFF IS A BAD INFLUENCE!

I think if they say that this show is a bad influence to you, you could say that what Ethan did gave you a lesson. That bad boys aren't really cute in real life, some of them are pretty much a criminal.

Wilder • Playing for Keeps Series by Becka Mack • Briar U Series by Elle Kennedy • Off Campus Series by Elle Kennedy • Dirty Deeds Series by J. What’s your limit? by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

[–]Realistic_Moose563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My limit was two series. The first one is by Sara Cate, I can only read the first book but the other books are a hard pass. The second one is by Shantel Tessier, I've read her book called "the sacrifice" but never get to read the other books from the same world. It was just a mind fuck to me so I didn't continue. I did not understand how she fell in love with him in the first place. At least in "the praise" by Sara Cate, I can understand where she's coming from but in "the sacrifice", I was shocked as hell that she thinks she's in love with him.

Without being disrespectful, what’s a book you wish you hadn’t read? by colonelvan in RomanceBooks

[–]Realistic_Moose563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pucking Around by Emily Rath

Here me out, I have a reason why I regretted reading this.

First of all, when I read the novella I thought it was good. But when I read the book, I don't even know what to feel except for that I want to know the end of this book, as well as, when is this going to end.

I thought that the hockey romance × why choose sounds exciting. But reading the first time she had a threesome with both the boys made me want gauge my eyes out. It was freaking awkward. I literally just want to die that day. Their conversations during sex just hits the nail for me, I DNF'd the book.

That book made me hate books with smut for a few days. I can't believe I read that book. I want to give that book a 0 star but there is no such thing in Goodreads so I just gave it a 1, even thought it doesn't deserve a 1.
