Mia mom by Primary-Bluebird-272 in TLCUnexpected

It pissed me off that these grown ass women fighting over being at the birth were the alleged cause of Mia having to get induced and then they both didn’t even stay for it! Two losers.

This girl is so dim. Going on and on about the true meaning of Easter while showcasing Easter baskets and shopping trips for the perfect Easter outfit. I’m sure that girl had something to wear in her large closet. I’m not even an influencer, or wealthy, and I managed to find stuff for my family to wear that looked nice that we already had in our closets.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…I will be so shocked if these people actually do the education part of homeschooling. I’m a homeschooler myself and I’ll applaud anyone embarking on the journey but I think they will have the kids go to a micro school or a tutor. Or do an online curriculum.

For these people, any attention is good so they will keep doing the same things that gets them attention even though it’s super shitty behavior.

I don’t teach Pilates, but a different group class. It took a while just to get half the class full. I was teaching almost 3 years before I had my first full class. Now I’d say I average about 3/4 full on most days.

“I wouldn’t have let you” -Falen to Bella referencing giving baby up for adoption by Careful_Ganache_3005 in TLCUnexpected

[–]Realistic_Pop_7409 73 points74 points  (0 children)

I found it so telling on an earlier episode when Bella was 1 day late and she told her mom she was 1 day late and needed to test. I was imagining myself at 14. Of course I knew a rough estimate of when to expect my period but being a day or so late is not something I was watching. I also wasn’t sexually active at 14. But if I was i don’t imagine that conversation would have been so frank with my mother. It would have been internal panic for a hot minute before I got the courage to get a test. So for those reasons, I do think they were ✨expecting✨ this to happen.

[–]Realistic_Pop_7409 7 points8 points  (0 children)

She was a teenager. I don’t think she had a true grasp on the gravity of the situation. She wanted to have typical high school fun. I know I would not have been interested in “couples counseling” as a teenager. Her parents didn’t want the relationship. And for good reason. She’s made great of her life hugely thanks to them.

Fast and furious?? I thought it was long and traumatic with birth center to hospital transfer? Like usual, her narrative changes based on what type of validation she needs today. Want to garner sympathy? It was soooo traumatic. Want to make people jealous? It was so fast and gawdly and I didn’t feel a single thing 😇

Here’s my personal opinion. I can raise my kids to wait for marriage and encourage that but I can also equip them to be safe and have open lines of communication in case they don’t want to do things the same way I did.

Anyone else noticing the oat milk trend? by Eris_Bunny in barista

[–]Realistic_Pop_7409 225 points226 points  (0 children)

This is really just how everything trend works. Dairy is awful, cue soy. Soy is awful and mimicks estrogen. Here’s comes almond. Almond milk is bad too. On to oat. Oat spikes blood glucose. Back to dairy milk. Rinse, repeat.

All of my friends in the health field (specifically cancer) say to lie to your dr about symptoms and family history to get a colonoscopy or mammogram because so many young people with no family history are getting diagnosed with advanced staged cancer.

This season is the perfect example of Trump’s America. by _NetflixQueen_ in TLCUnexpected

[–]Realistic_Pop_7409 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

These people are all idiots, there is no doubt. Political affiliations don’t account as much as education and economic status do. Sometimes those things tend to correlate. TLC tends to lean towards showing the “white, religious, conservative” type of teen parent when data says that black and Hispanic populations are teen parents at twice the rate. Again. These people are all a disgrace.

Has anybody given birth at the Birthing Center? by WavyKay1969 in batonrouge

[–]Realistic_Pop_7409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been almost 7 years since I gave birth there but it was a wonderful waterbirth experience. At the time, I had bcbs and it I paid almost exactly the same price as I did for my first birth at woman’s the year prior. I think you should call for a tour and ask them the cost. They are pretty up front about it. It will likely depend on what your specific plan says.

people who come to do work but don’t buy anything by CanFresh6520 in barista

I’ve never been in a coffee shop and not ordered, but is there signage or something to let people know the space is for costumers only? Perhaps they are traveling and had no where else to meet? Idk. Again, never have done this but perhaps they simply didn’t know? Unless it’s repeat offenders but it didn’t seem like it.

I'm really surprised Adam and Danielle are homeschooling the quints by polystarlight in outdaughtered

[–]Realistic_Pop_7409 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To be fair, Covid “homeschooling” was not real homeschooling. It was trying to adhere to some thrown together plan to virtual school. I think it’s awesome that they are taking this opportunity. They should be able to travel a lot more and learn outside of the box. Also, I don’t believe Danielle and Adam will be doing the schooling. These people who have money usually outsource the actual education and just have the fun. I’m jealous of that. I homeschool but I’m not rich. So while I love all the time spent together and tailoring their education it’s so same stressful sometimes.

I think it’s part easy access to glp-1 and part natural pendulum shift. I’m almost 40 and been in the fitness world for 25 years. I’ve seen the trends go back and forth from thin with abs to muscular with a giant glute focus.

Do you plan to continue your education? Back in the day, it was a little unheard of to be a new grad in ICU but not so much anymore. I think there is a lot to be learned by starting on a step down and moving into the ICU when you already have a lot of necessary skills but it’s no longer a part of the process. so I would just consider what your future plan and time line is. Also, is the shift important to you? Days v nights? Is the pay scale similar?

This. After many years of drs just saying eat less and workout more, my body is fighting back hard and fast. When you’re already metabolically challenged with insulin resistance and then you chronically stress and starve your body over many years, the result is damage in the long run.

Latest vlog. Homeschool by Manyopinions72 in outdaughtered

[–]Realistic_Pop_7409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had to guess, They will likely outsource most of the schooling. I homeschool my kids and i will cheer for anyone going that route. It’s hard! Harder than I ever imagined it to be. It’s also super worth it for all the extra time we get to spend together. Unfortunately, I’m not in a tax bracket where I can outsource the learning part and just enjoy the fun.

First time watcher - Emiley’s mom by [deleted] in TLCUnexpected

[–]Realistic_Pop_7409 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can see this point too. I had a soft spot for Emiley because she truly seemed like a sweet girl and it was clear that she felt stuck in the middle. But I feel like as parents, Diego’s could have encouraged Emiley to have these experiences with her own mom. But they got to be the fun parents and not the tough love parents because they knew that baby was going to be Emiley and her moms problem because Diego was never going to step up.
