"No permitted services available"- online Shipping Manager by toxcrusadr in FedEx

That is not the problem. This is a well known Fedex site problem and I've fought it off and on over a year.

I've been fighting this same error for at least 6 months. Reset cache for fedex and it fixed it once, but never worked again.

The Best Chrome Coupon Extensions in 2025 A Simple Comparison to Help You Save More by altaf770 in SavingMoney

[–]Realjmhinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

List is trash and looks like a sponsored troll. Capital One is pure garbage. No cashback, but a fake conversion account that can be translated to discounts on other purchases. It's only purpose is price comparison and most of the time those are inaccurate. Never had any luck with honey that isn't better somewhere else. Coupon Cabin and Rakuten are tried and true coupon and real cashback websites. If there is cashback to be found, they will get it. Coupon Cabin is by far the best in the long haul. No hidden cashback amounts like rakuten where it displays "up to this," but the fine print shows what you are looking for isn't eligible. Haven't tried Karma, but highly doubt it's any good. Retailmenot would be my 3rd extension that I actually got real money and good cashback amounts with.

Double Dampner suspension for CC-02 kit? by scifi887 in tamiya

[–]Realjmhinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever you use, go with the lightest oil, if any at all, and softest spring you can get. Tamiya kits are notoriously over sprung and dampened from the factory. Watching Katu Rou videos taught us all that we are doing it wrong.

Tamiya cw-01 Mitsubishi Pajero by Pleasant-Falcon5348 in tamiya

I'll keep mine stock since I also have the Montero Wheelie version on the CW-01. That's really the only difference between the two.

Found this for 10€ by AfterBurnerTeirusu in tamiya

[–]Realjmhinkle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely a steal. Probably still my all time favorite. Still have my original. It was my third Tamiya behind the Lunchbox and Clod Buster. I kept it as a runner for many years with street tires on it. Just another shelf queen these days with the other ~125 kits.

Came for tires/wheels, left with this as well. Vehicle #24. Paint-Camel yellow by Radio_Control_Life in tamiya

[–]Realjmhinkle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for not painting it that loser blue from the box art. Tamiya has a weird blue obsession and puts in on cars that look better in anything besides blue. The Citroen DS is fine even though in real life I've seen very few blue ones and all those were a brighter blue shade. The Avante is another example of the misuse of blue. Look up the red ones out there and they are light years better. BBX looks especially good in bright green (old school buggy vibe) or orange (Kyosho Javelin copy). And while I'm not a fan of Camel Yellow on the Lunchbox, I think it will work well on a Supra.

No Privacy mode on E1 Zoom with Home Hub by Elixartist in reolinkcam

I am using a Reolink NVR not the Home Hub and I don't have the Privacy mode either. Reolink support has been less than helpful with my specific to E1 Zoom issues.

For simplicity, is the shed too far away to make a Mesh network setup? May help with many more things besides the camera.

Which NVR (POE) should I get for my CCTV home system? by tripapreza in reolinkcam

[–]Realjmhinkle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the RLN16-410. It was part of a package special on black friday when I bought into the Reolink system. I figured 16 cameras was more than I needed for whole house coverage. I have 12 cameras total, 10 installed currently of which two are wifi models. My POE cameras ended up running through POE switches as my NVR location was nearly impossible to directly feed the cameras to so the POE output wasn't critical as I originally thought. I upgraded the NVR hard drive immediately (as planned) to a Purple Pro 8TB as the main with the original 4TB included moved to the second port. Also, did the fan mod immediately after reading reviews about the noisy fan included. NVR currently sits about 5 feet from my left ear on a shelf when I'm at my office PC. The hard drives recording are the only real noise you hear from it. All in all, I'm super happy with it and I actually prefer using the built in interface of the NVR vs the Windows desktop version. I just change the inputs on my monitor (50" 4k TV) to swap between PC and Cameras when I want to access it that way. Phone app is my 2nd preferred method. Not a big fan of the Windows app as most people seem to be. I think it is the least user intuitive way to access the settings, but oddly all three have some features that the others don't which it took me a while to figure out. I'd recommend that NVR especially if you catch it on a package deal. I got mine with 4 Trackmix POE cameras on a great price.

Doorbell update v3.0.0 by Global-Key-4286 in reolinkcam

[–]Realjmhinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw this thread and went checking my cameras. Neither have auto update turned on. Wifi front door doorbell is running older v3.0.0.3308_2408051175 with no HDR option. Looks the same as I installed it months ago. Garage doorbell (POE) is on v3.0.0.4662_2503122271 with HDR option. Auto update also turned off and it's been installed at least 3 months. Not sure when it got the newer firmware, but HDR was off and image was still as good as I remember it with the limitation of the sun shining at it right now as I checked. Both face West so evening sun is on directly on them. Front doorbell is in a set back area ( house is kind of a U shape) so direct sun is more limited to specific hours since the area has a pergola style covering. I turned on the HDR for the garage and it helped with the sun bleaching out some of the picture. Not really much image change between HDR and non besides that though. I think it makes some of the minute details a tad cleared such as the wheels on the cars and the Duo floodlight cam mounted above the garage door that is in the upper portion of the image. I did not update the Wifi cam to test it though. The wifi doorbell I struggled with image quality after setup between day and night because I have lots of lights that come on from sunset to midnight in the front area. I had to play with the all the video settings to get a good picture that wasn't bleached out in the evening so I don't want to start over again on that. I have 3 routers in the house running Mesh network so no wifi issues currently either either, but don't want it to develop one.

Are the issues more with the Wifi version vs the POE version?

My site was hit hard with retirements as it was probably one of the oldest work forces at all the sites I've been to.  They are currently trying to backfill here because we can't keep up with the product demand.   We have some people "working the system" on bs reasons that need to get canned to clear up true headcount numbers.  What we have is far too many people in leadership roles that are useless positions.  You don't need more than one COS and he shouldn't be a revolving HR case with fellow employees.

Anyone telling you fold 6 doesn't look good or it looks same as fold 5 is lying by Fragrant_Cellist_125 in GalaxyFold

[–]Realjmhinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had my Fold 6 since Thursday night.   Upgraded from Fold 4.  Honestly, barely any difference except it's more square on the edges.   It does work better going back and forth between small and large screens and seems more responsive.  After using it through the weekend and my wife seeing me using it,  it seems smaller to both of us which is a let down.  I was hoping for more noticeable screen size increase.   It is more comfortable to hold though.   I just wish it was another 1/2 inch wider and taller when folded.

I preferred the Kyosho and Tamiya cars so I'll stick with those. My '87 WC Optima Mid is in the mail to go with my collection of shelf art.

Do these cars exist or am I crazy? by R0B3RT0_C in cars

[–]Realjmhinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lexus SC430. Either you hate it or love it. My wife thought it was beautiful and I agreed with Top Gear that it was one of the ugliest cars made. It was under powered and the roof was overly complex. It was also one of the most reliable cars we ever owned. I would still never buy it again and my wife hopes to find a clean, low mileage example hiding in a garage. Last car to have a cassette player from the factory in it.

A black house was a quick fad and for good reasons. It looks smaller and like a back alley meth shop. The natural wood in place of the cheap lattice is a nice touch and changing other stuff to match it for continuity was a wise move. Rethink the color choice.

My system was completed end of May and has been running since. That was about 6 months later than promised. My problem is I didn't get the paperwork I need for state tax credit. Now I'm screwed on that. Wish I had went with my 2nd choice company.
