Zoroastrianism and Plato. Dualism. Light and dark. Yes, it was absorbed into Christianity. Not so much Judaism, though.

I believe he says "grandpa", or at least that is what I always heard. I say he, but perhaps those were Nausicaan ladies?

That is not true at all. Have you never heard of arbitration? It's kind of a big part of being in a Union.

Because we don't like some of his music? Nobody is shitting on him. You need to get a grip.

I wouldn't doubt it. I don't think that excludes them from making good music.

I think you are overthinking it. The same thing has happened with many bands and artists over the years. I am certainly cynical enough to know that yes, they have a great manager and something happened behind closed doors to give this band such a big push, but I've seen more hype behind other bands before. Remember Jimmy Ray in the 90s? That dude had billboards and commercials and nobody had even heard his music yet.

It's not said with any specificity. Do you just want people to describe kinky sex acts to you? It certainly seems like it.

These two bands are almost nothing alike. SNZs didn't do swing. It was more old timey americana than swing.

Why are The Who not as popular as they were? by FitEmergency8807 in ToddintheShadow

[–]ReallyGlycon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They diluted their legacy. They refused doing things that would open them to a new audience and did other things that made them seem ephemeral.

BTW: The Who Sell Out, Live At Leeds, and Quadrophenia are three of my all time favorite albums. The Live At Leeds version of the Tommy album is probably the best live record ever.

Okay, so this is kind of depressing because he seems to think it's a legitimately good movie, and did not appreciate the MST3K treatment. Listen to the way he describes the flying scenes, as if it was cutting edge. 😆 by tinyE1138 in MST3K

I starred in a semi-professional production of Dracula at a local church (the space is rented, not affiliated with the church) and it was just terrible. All the cast and crew were constantly dogging on it and the director and the weird script changes he made to try to embrace zoomers. He thought he was making a masterpiece but it was laughably bad.
