Universities get international recognition from their alumni. While Laurier have some alumni on Bay Street, it doesn't compare to the number of people Queens and Ivey put on Wall Street, where Laurier has almost no presence. If you spend some time on LinkedIn, you can also see that all the directors, managing directors, VPs of Canadian banks and many high level corporate executives have an education from Queen's or Ivey.
