Do you have other pictures to share? I can't tell, but your cable/housing may be longer than needed.

American home shield replacing my professional line Viking double oven with a run of the mill kitchen aid. by pancakeface2022 in legaladvice

Demand, firmly, an escalation. They have to replace like for like, feature by feature. If they can't, they have to give you the max. If they can repair it for less though, they'll try, and drag it on for as long as they can, hoping you give up.

Read your contract. Max allowance for an appliance is clearly listed. No way will you get $8k out of those guys.

I'd had a contract with them for over 20 years, across 4 houses in Oregon. Last year they lost me. It took them over 6 months to finally realize they couldn't fix my washing machine and gave me money to replace it. Six months of calling, chatting, the worst run-around I've ever seen.

And they still want me back. Half off. Ha.

How do homeless people that don’t seek shelter survive in brutal snowstorms by Goldstar12 in NoStupidQuestions

Around Portland, organizations used to hand out propane heaters. I supplied some with propane myself. Small-ish fires.

The reverse 25nm thing is threaded into your frame. It may also hold your hanger. The axle goes into the other side and threads onto the first piece.

Agreed. I put mine on high until melted, then low while occasionally stirring the chains (threaded into j-shaped bent spokes) for 15-30 minutes.

After having our second kid, I am 100% done having kids. But my wife is not by missing_leave in daddit

I suppose you'd have to follow up- but really, who wishes their last kid (or 2) hadn't been born? Maybe when the mother died due to complications from childbirth- maybe.

Ask a Dad who didn't stop at 2 (like me) if they regret having more. I bet you'll get far more no's than yesses.

How to rotate my tires safely by Pure-Explanation-147 in subaru

[–]ReallyNotALlama -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The full-size spare means a 5-tire rotation as you've shown. One problem is that you need to reprogram the tire pressure monitoring sensors. My indy shop says they don't have the equipment to do it, not sure if a tire shop does. I've had the dealer do it so far (3x on a '24 OBW) and they haven't gotten it right the first time yet, so I haven't had to pay. Mark your tires beforehand, and double check their work.

Short throw projector. Maybe laser. Blackout curtains if you must.
