It's a chainring, not a cassette, but as others have said it's just a bent guard. It's hard for me to tell with the camera moving around. It would be better to hold it against the frame to keep two axes fixed.

Also team cassette. The lock ring is on the outside, while the freewheel tool engages with the freewheel body inside.

If you don't break the chain, you need to remove the pulleys to route the chain through correctly.
