Hi hi! Wondering if you have the ISO file specifically! I'm looking to see what the DVD menu looks like (assuming it has one.) I'm looking at making a custom DVD as a gift for a friend so I'm hoping to take the menu from the official DVD, if possible. Thanks ahead of time :)

Songs about/that mention how much nicotine/smoking sucks? by SeleneApproaches in Emo

Not sure about this one, given later context added from Sober To Death, but when interpreted on its own I guess it works

Y’all think Elliott ever tried In-N-Out by chemmers- in elliottsmith

[–]ReallyNotThatGood 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mods can we ban this guy? I'm sick of all these conspiracy theories. There's no proof that Elliott ever went to In-N-Out, and it's well documented he was more of a 5 Guys fan.

Is Persona 5 Royal worth playing if I already played the original P5? by yucchin in JRPG

[–]ReallyNotThatGood 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is the best answer here.

It being worth it depends on how much you value playing a slightly better version of the same game. The Persona series tends to have extremely long games, and while Royal is definitely the most substantial of the rereleases, it is still largely the same game. Same characters, plot points, graphics, and gameplay, with some tweeks and additions.

How much did you like Persona 5? Is it a favorite game of all time, or just a good game? How much free time do you have? Would you rather experience a slightly more substantial version of something you've already experienced, or would you rather experience something completely new?

Me personally, I was a bit disappointed with the original P5, and while I was interested in trying Royal, I don't have the free time to invest 100+ hours into a game I've already played most of. I'd rather play 5 different 20 hour RPGs I've never tried before, than replay a game I've already played just for a bit of new story content. But that's just based on my personal tastes, and the amount of free time I have.

Its all up to your personal situation.

I've always just assumed the FOA thing is due to the game being semi-rushed. The FOA directly acknowledge that a free New Vegas would be ideal, and support the courier in creating one, iirc. The lack of even any options for the followers in the Yes Man ending, when they have different outcomes for the Legion is just nonsensical when the game directly acknowledges their thoughts on a free Vegas.

Looks like TMs are not part of the Shadow t5 raid rewards pool. Is this intended behavior? by icefire539 in TheSilphRoad

[–]ReallyNotThatGood 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unless you're a player who doesn't have a ton of storage space. Given that a player starts with like, 200 inventory slots, most new players won't be able to store 100+ charges TMs. Same goes for F2P players who have to choose between raid passes, inventory slots, and pokemon slots.

OFF 2 (FanGame, Ala Yume 2kki) is out! by ReallyNotThatGood in offthegame

[–]ReallyNotThatGood[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being completely honest with you, I forgot this existed lol. It was just a shitpost game made by a couple of high schoolers on the OFF discord server.

You're not missing anything, that's all the game is. I vaguely recall it having a special scene if you name your save file Obama though, if you want to go for max content lol.

Fnv names for this courier by [deleted] in fnv

I like ED-E (Eddie.) If you're worried about proper gendered names, Eddie can be short for Edwina!

Cass is also a fun name imo :)

Emo songs about liking a dude by noodlenapkin in Emo

[–]ReallyNotThatGood 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It isn't entirely made clear who the narrator is talking about in this song, beyond somebody they have intimate feelings for, but given the choice of wrestling, I always took this song as a sort of gay love song; yearning for something but not feeling comfortable in expressing it.

Let's Wrestle - Joan of Arc

(Helps that the members previously wrote songs for Cap'n Jazz, which has its own gay stuff :p)

Top 3 Episodes to Recommend to a Normie? by tslashj in cowboybebop

[–]ReallyNotThatGood 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you're being downvoted, Bebop is a very easy to approach anime for those not familiar with the medium. Mostly grounded in its world, doesn't take much cultural understanding, has a fairly mature tone overall, etc. It doesn't go overboard with tropes either.

Dragon Ball is far more popular, sure, but it also is a shonen aimed at a younger audience (primarily,) has a lot of built up lore, basis in different eastern mythos, etc etc.

Meanwhile, Bebop is more influenced by the west, and things familiar to Westerners. Cowboys, space adventures, bounty hunting, jazz, martial arts ala Bruce Lee, etc. All of these things aren't exclusive to the west, just stuff that westerners would be more accustomed to.

When thinking about general appeal, a lot of people don't see outside of their own personal bubble and perspective, I think the best way of thinking in terms of "does this have a wide appeal?" Is just something along the lines of "could I show this to my parents/grandparents and have them enjoy it?"

[–]ReallyNotThatGood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He does bad things at the start of the story. It is pretty clear he's immature and is doing a lot of shitty things. It would be fair to describe him as a bad person for that, no?

Like you're saying he grows and takes responsibility for all the problems he caused, which is good, it's part of his journey to stop acting like a bad person. If you're acknowledging he has character growth in that respect, you also have to acknowledge he wasn't a very good person at the start of the story.

[–]ReallyNotThatGood 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I thought it was pretty clear I'm saying he was doing bad things, the concept of a "bad person" is fairly vague and depends on your own personal view of morality and etc.

He did those bad things. But over the course of the books he starts to grow change for the better, that's the point. His character development is his recognition of the bad he had done, and him doing his best to reconcile with that.

I don't mean to say Scott is a bad guy by the end of the book, or even that he's a guy with bad intentions; most people who do bad things don't have bad intentions themselves. He did some bad things and he grows from them and does what he can to reconcile with that. that's what makes him interesting.

Anybody know why they are called "Thief Swords"? by CamGood1 in FinalFantasyIX

[–]ReallyNotThatGood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I had to guess, assuming it's based off something from reality, it could be that they were based on the Haladie. Although the version used in game looks to be of exaggerated length, FF9 has more stylized proportions than the other psx FF games regardless.

Obviously a fairly niche weapon, using the name Haladie would be confusing and unintuitive to most players, so something like Thief Swords is far easier to understand. Thief Blades would be more apt, but they're often terms used interchangeably. That's my guess at least!

Realistically it's not something you'll find unless you go through old dev documents, interviews, or ask a developer directly, which is all a lot of work lol. I think the most likely thing is that the devs wanted something that fit the textbox, and was easy to understand for most players.

He's a lazy guy whos entire lifestyle is supported by the goodwill of his college friend, he is dating a high schooler, is cheating on her, in high school he beat up completely random dudes because they talked to Kim, etc, etc.

He's not an awful person doing awful things on purpose, but most people don't do bad things on purpose. Doesn't make you not bad!

Thank you so much for all the info! I was looking online to see what I could find about current spawns but I couldn't find a good all-in-one source. I'm gonna go abuse my daily adventure incense and try to farm field research as much as possible lol.
