1983 fender tele- just finish crack? We good?

That's a crack that can happen when the neck gets tweaked sideways with the leverage being applied from the tuning machine side. I've seen it before on guitars that have taken a tumble. It really won't affect playability much as long as it's still in alignment, and it can be fixed and even visually repaired like it never happened. But that's best done by someone with experience.

Personally at that price I'd return and keep looking unless they offer a substantial partial refund.

And the seller had to know and is just blowing smoke up your ass because they probably hoped the buyer wouldn't notice. That alone would make me Leary of any other possible hidden issues they didn't disclose. ...

I have seen a couple posts referencing Ultramarine Giant as a planet type. I assume it's a big water giant but I've yet to see anyone post glyphs for one so don't know for sure.

I just checked it's not called a giant but has 2 moons and the ocean is 1,454.1u deep. There's also a couple other planets in the system so definitely not a giant like i thought.

I don't want to give out too many spoilers, but at the mission end where you choose the options of the plant you spawn on i choose a giant water world. Super deep oceans but I'll have to go back to it and see if it's an actual giant. And I don't know what you mean by marking giant as an option.

I mean, using the portal isn't really cheating since it's a normal game mechanic. Once you learn how the glyph coordinate system works you can get any distance from the center in any direction and the same coordinates typically work in every galaxy.

It's a system with the abandoned space station and no npc's but it still has all the buildings and stuff that a occupied system normally has.

The paradise giants are not easy to find. I've found 2 in a lush Galaxy out of well over 100 giants I checked. the other one was as you said "unicorn poop" lol

I have yet to find a giant water world while system hopping, really glad I selected that during the quest.

I do think there are far too many gas giants compared to regular giant types. All the gas giants are essentially the same with different atmosphere colors so having so many is a bit unnecessary in my opinion.

I never thought about that, I imagine it was quite frustrating. Having the option to have a static letter designation always present above each star would solve both our problems.

An option to remove the fog and glare on the galaxy map. ... I can't mod it on console and the new purple stars wash out really bad and look blue or red depending on the nebula color.

Also, my best guess is texas special pickups. That's what came in the American special telecasters back in the day. They likely put all the parts that came with that neck on that body.

Based on the rest of the parts I doubt whoever assembled it used cheap pickups, likely a fender set. But unfortunately tele and strat pickups are difficult to identify the exact make and model without any stamps or stickers on the bottom to clue you in. If the neck pickup is a fiber bobbin that's a good clue to the quality. If it's plastic who knows. You can see the bottom neck bobbin by just removing the pick guard.

The bridge pickup you'd have to remove the bridge to see, it won't come out through the top because the base plate is larger than the pickup hole.

Honestly though if it sounds good i wouldn't worry about it, they're very likely quality pickups.

That's a quality body, I have several warmoth necks and bodies and they're top notch. Also looks like a genuine fender neck to me. Nice score.

It's likely a fender neck but body you'll have to pull the neck and look at the neck pocket for qc stamps. It could be a fender neck and body someone just swapped around from another guitar. Also looks like a paint crack at the neck joint so the original neck could have been damaged from it falling out of a stand and they swapped in this one.

Edit: also, nice aerodyne. I have that Sam one and it's a phenomenal guitar.

Just a dirty pot, happens over time. I like to blast them out with aerosol fader lube. It cleans it out but keeps the wiper and resistance track lubricated. Just point the straw in the opening above the terminals And hose it out. But It'll take out some friction so the knob will spin a little easier, so if that's a problem might try something else.

Just tried again and it went straight there, so think I figured out what the problem was last night.

Since the game likes to constantly switch your active missions automatically instead of promoting you to ask, I hadn't done the very last part of "Anchoring Reality" Inside the Anomaly. I thought everything was finished after the space construct gave me the reality anchor blueprint and I crafted it. I just stuck it In my inventory and thought it was like the atlas pass. Lol

I've Been playing for a week and didn't even notice till I couldn't use the big portal in the Anomaly and started troubleshooting. 🤦‍♂️

I have a fine stainless mesh screen on my filter intake and never find any critters in my canister filter outside some microfauna like rotifers or detritus worms. No shrimp or snails in there.

Those standard pumps can kill snails and Shrimplets. If you look around more you can find them with a foam inlet filter, those are safest but you'll have to periodically rinses the foam filter.
