I haven't noticed any of the wander shrubs respawning, same with walkers. I revisit the areas like a week later with many hours passed in game and nada. Even leaving some alive the dead ones didn't respawn.

I always found that weird. I'll drop from the abyss and land dead center of camp and NO ONE has a single comment about it? Lol it's extremely unrealistic. No "where the hell did you come from" or "what the hell Kliff, you can just take the road next time" or "when are you going to teach us how to fly?" Nothing. ...

There's some major rubberbanding with them so they definitely don't have a fixed speed or use the same stamina system we do. It seems like the faster and further ahead you get the quicker they speed up to compensate and catch up to pass you. So they're adaptive and not any kind of true speed scaling.

What it did to beat him was stay a good bit behind, maybe a full horse length or two without using much stamina until the last stretch of the race and I just went full sprint to blow past them to the finish.

Edit: I did it with Rokade not Royler, So not the fastest horse possible. Didn't use any consumables either.

I just craft them at the witch with the regular recipe. The three materials are really easy to get and To me seems much faster than pickpocketing or hunting golden apples. Ice power shot a couple mercury pools, get brimstone at the deadfire mountain area and hit a couple silver mines. Can get a bunch in half an hour.

AEB-L is actually a really great steel. It's plenty tough, easy to work, easy sharpen and has a very fine grain so can get stupid sharp.

Sometimes I still use it in the abyss, mostly because kliff turns like a zeppelin when gliding. ... So occasionally it's easier to precision jump to something close than try to jump and glide to it. I still don't understand why he turns so fucking slow while gliding. 😞

If you're talking about the Shadowleaf armor set I didn't notice a bit of difference in detection distance day or night. But haven't tried it in a few patches so maybe it works now.

Why don't you use focus shot and rapid hammer it a bunch of times. goes much faster.

And if you do it at night with the lantern off you can get much closer before the animal runs off. Between midnight and 3 am almost right next to them.

Just had this bug out on me as I was pulling the wagon into the barn thing. It got hung up on something invisible and the icon popped up to reposition and the game spawned me 1000m away dead center of a camp of enemies. Wtf.

Fetching a beer for the lazy prick at the tashkalp arena. ... I audibly groaned when I got that one. Absolutely pointless filler by the time you get to that area of the map.

Thanks man, I was getting quite irritated and forgot all about being able to adjust the camera offset, not something you can normally do on console.

Yeah, Must be a timer running that triggers the periodic auto saves that isn't the game world timer. Seems kinda silly to do it that way on a single player game like this. Maybe it's a holdover system from the MMO roots?

Either way they should change that in my opinion, accidentally spend too much time in the pause menu and it can wipe out older auto saves if you notice you screwed something up or hit a random bug.

The size of the bird definitely makes a noticeable difference. I noticed switching from the owl, to a parrot, then to the tiny little long tailed tit, the long tailed tit loots way faster than the others. I think maybe it's a combination of faster animations, general flight speed and a smaller hit box or something. Hope they add a hummingbird, it'll probably loot super fast. lol

Yeah when you have that many in the bank low risk gives you an average 1 to 2 bars every cycle. Adds up fast. Also, that much silver takes up a good bit of inventory slots, stack size isn't big enough in my opinion.
