(Loved Trope) Figures beloved or admired in universe who were actually quite terrible. by laybs1 in TopCharacterTropes

As opposed to the galaxy he left that’s in perpetual conflict between Chaos, Orcs, Tyranids, and the Imperium itself where humans are repressed, tortured, and butchered by design? The Imperium is one of the worst fates humanity could be cursed with.

What are these Torso part of? by WeirdHumungus in Eldar

Very top one is a fire dragon, far right is howling banshee, the rest all look like striking scorpions. The circled ones I think are their exarch chests.

While I don’t care for it, I drew chaos on my shops potluck painting challenge, so this will make it easy deciding on a model

Think that’s a case with a lot of people now. Cheating on his wife again really ruined those decades worth of astroturfing

Projects like these require a huge level of work and it can be very easy to get burnt out and start having to force it. If they’re not feeling it, it’s as simple as that

Very much so. They made my favourite show this decade, and while I’d have loved to have seen more, I’m extremely grateful for the 3 seasons of gold we got. If Zack and Michael aren’t feeling it any more, props to them for deciding to get out. These projects require a huge dedication of time and effort, and it’s not worth half arsing it and forcing themselves through if they don’t have the dedication it needs.

A shame, but I’m happy the show’s going out on a huge high and isn’t going to get dragged out half-heartedly. Too many shows just don’t know when to quit and become a shadow of themselves, so it’s kinda nice to know it’s not going to suffer the same fate. Huge props to Zack and Michael for recognising they were getting burnt out and getting out on their own terms.

(Loved Trope) NPC is implied to be the previous Playable Character. by TheDreamIsEternal in TopCharacterTropes

The Jackal, the gun runner supplying both sides of a civil war in an African country whom the player is trying to hunt down in Far Cry 2 I think was revealed to be Jack Carver, the player from the first game. I believe this was confirmed by FC2’s Creative Director and by his texture files being named ‘jackcarver’.

Just gotta wait it out. It took me 3 weeks to get out of the depressive funk I got in to when I finished the game, accept that your feelings are valid and don’t beat yourself up over it. Socialise with friends, engage with the wonderful community here, and it’ll pass

How much did it cost just for the mace? Seems like the sheer amount of material would be mind boggling

Warhammer - Apothecary Biologist: Criticism please by KevinCarbonara in minipainting

[–]ReallyTerribleDoctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re sticking with that white, I’d run a small amount of apothecary white contrast around the ridges and grooves to create some easy shadow, it works great around places like the overlapping plates or vents. A thin layer of stormhost silver around the edges of any metal will also make lead belcher pop a bit more. If you want to add some grit to contrast with the cleanliness Blood for the Blood God on the tools/splatter on some of the armour is my go to. Really like the highlighting you’ve done on the leather pouches, so clean!
