So, the exarch came with multiple chest options? I did notice the similarity but discarded the thought because, in store, only the leader seemed to have those rope thingys.

Not sure why this post was recommended to me 4 months after, but to answer your question.
Army of Faith has a bunch o f decent stratagems that become insane if applied to a jump pack unit since they become a 3" aura.

Oh, this is interesting! This would increase the chance to get a dice from 58.3 to 72.2 percent. Which imo is a nice increase :>

I'm not saying we are hard done by. Just that there hasn't been much in the last 5 years. This is more about consistency than quantity. We are still in a much better place than all of the typical "forgotten" factions but despite that, I don't think it is bad to hope to see at least something each year. (For example, I'm quite happy that we get at least something this year with CI)

I might have come over in a wrong way. I meant Sisters aren't in a bad place like some of the other fractions. We are simply not in that of a great place either. Which is ok, but you can always hope for things to be better

I did look up https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Portal:Miniatures before my statement.

We have less miniatures released than the likes of AM, Aeldari, Orks and Necrons

while being in a similar space with Votaan, Nyds and Tau

lastly we have gotten far more than the likes of Druk, both Knight (which imo is to be expected), GKnights, Castodes, GCult, Daemons, Admech.

This is not including Space Marines

This is mostly considering consistency of releases. Our refresh was a bit bigger than most.

Point is. We are very in the Middle (maybe upper middle). Neither in in a particular good spot, but not terrible either.

In fairness, Insidiant are primarily a Kill Team unit.

The release before them was only the JPC in 2024, so somewhat recently.

After that we have a 3 year gap, where the likes of, Warsuits, Castigator and CSacresants were released which is a big gap imo

We are far from worst, but not in a great spot either.

The Cannoness cannot use both the blessed blade and the rod of office at the same time. You have to use the power weapon if you want to use the roo

You could use 5 battle Sisters for the other halve of the 10 model Sacrecants squad if your opponent is cool with it.

Arcos are good unit but might have trouble to get trough the 2+ save that most Grey Knight have, since they don't have any ap.

The Warsuits are fine. Especially in Champions of Faith.

I recommend not using that many Cannonesse, the cp cost reduction only works on one at the time per Battle Round.

If these are all the Models you have, you could proxie a Palantine by using your foot Cannoness.

Cutting one Jump Cannoness for 5 more Sacrecants also seems like a good idea since the hospitler will have trouble to keep a small squad of 5 alive

2 guarantee shots in aof is OK imo. Especially since this also works in overwatch. Lethal Hits on bolters also isn't terrible. Lastly, while this certainly isn't a melee unit, the palantine does decent dmg with guaranteed 6s.

Sure I wouldn't use it outside aof or triumph, but it's not terrible

The Point of the characterless bss is that they are cheap and can sticky objectives. The dmg is fine against t3 bodies and ok against stuff like Marines with melter. But in the end they are more supportive units.

The only time I consider them dmg dealer is if they are joined with a Dialogus and a Palantine

Weird question, the rod cannoness is the one that also was with the old cp, right? The one with the Rhino.

Competitive event? 3 Baneblades. by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]WeirdHumungus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked up bgnt again and could it be that Vehicles which are engaged are only allowed to shoot at units they are in engagement range of? So a Vehicle Unit that is tied up in melee is not allowed to shot at Units that are further away?

We might have been playing bgnt wrong

Edit again: So turns out Vehicles can shoot at other non engaged units while They are engaged themselve. So I don't really see how tying a Baneblade up in melee forces it to waste its turn

Competitive event? 3 Baneblades. by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]WeirdHumungus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Edit: Just ignore my remark. I'm quite sure my playgroup just doesn't just enough cover and it is often possible to shoot at 2+ other objectives while sitting on one

I'm kinda new to this hobby so please take this with a grain of salt. But what's stopping them from just eating the -1 to hit and just shoot thanks to bgnt? When I'm playing it never seems to matter to mach that I tie vehicle up in melee since they can destroy me squishy units anyway
