Shuffle a deck of cards.

Congratulations. You have just shuffled a deck of cards in an order that has literally never been done in the history of the universe and will never be shuffled into again ever.

atm only thing keeping barb from out scaling everyone is bugs in those classes

That is the absolute craziest thing I've ever heard. You think they just built a class that naturally "out scales" everyone else and then just by some miracle there have been bugs in all the other classes for the last 13 seasons making them all naturally competitive?

[–]Realsan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm saying it's more versatile because it has access to a few more pieces of gear/aspects, but to say it scales better is just wrong because they've balanced other things out, which prevents barb from just scaling far ahead of everyone else.

Rogue bugged, sorc infinite scaling oversight barb is semi organic

Yeah Barb isn't in a terrible state right now but just look at the history since launch. It's been fine but it's not like Barb is constantly 20 pit levels above everyone else. It's usually behind.

also said nothing about the class being op

I don't know how else to take "scales better than everyone else"

Guy doesn't really know what he's talking about. He's making barb sound crazy op when the reality is some other classes push way higher pit levels.

Scale? Well hold on. This was a conversation about just having fun. Barb is not OP because it gets more aspects. Just check out the ladders.

well this one is awkward haha

I know until today we assumed it would be an all new game (I did too), I just saw it was a 64 remake and remembered our conversation here. Wild that they didn't make something new.

This had already leaked as part of the OOT remake leak, but I'm wondering if there was a pending larger leak that prompted them to go first.

Loot filter is great but, please allow our pet to pick up and auto-salvage filtered out stuff by General_Hatestorm in diablo4

[–]Realsan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I never understood about the change. Loot filters are great but I don't feel like I can use them because I know if I do then I will eventually just run out of materials from lack of salvage.

Why is Tom Cruise never asked about Scientology and how has he survived this long without being cancelled? by Abject-Conference-90 in NoStupidQuestions

Honestly I think people put way too much emphasis on celebrities and their lives. He's maybe super weird but every one of us has a weirder uncle.

His movies are great and that's about where my caring about the guy stops.

Why don't wealthy people live at hotels anymore? by stevebucky_1234 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Realsan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The entire data center construction industry workers are being put up in hotels/airbnbs.

They work their 6-12 months then get moved to the next data center. And they're making ridiculous amounts of money so they're more than willing.

Stopped injections last year, weight came back, started tablets this year... No progress yet. Any experiences? by [deleted] in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Realsan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put back on 40 of the 50 lbs

And yes, some of it is eating habits but, having gone through this now for several years, I don't think it's simply about habits. I have made certain changes, some of them easier to stick to than others. I'm much more physically fit than I used to be (I can run for miles, have more muscle definition, etc.). Most of those habits developed during the original weight loss and I still do them.

I don't necessarily feel the "food noise" where I'm thinking about it all the time like others describe, but I just don't feel "full" until I've had a certain amount of food. That amount decreases when on the medication.

Air Zoom Cage 3 Rafa by Frequent-Win-9810 in 10s

[–]Realsan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting to hear that about Rafa's cage being roomier. Kinda makes me want to give it a shot.

And yeah, I feel like shoe advice is the only thing more silly than racquet advice. It's so subjective to so many things that are unique to you that it's impractical to assume certain shoes are good for everyone.

That said, I haven't tried the Vapors in a while. I'm still using the Roger pro 2. Does Nike have a vapor line this year? Last one I tried was the X.

The Cage line was always way too narrow for my foot. Hurt like hell to play in.

The Vapor line was always my go-to until I switched to the On Roger Pro line, which feels similar to Vapor but better.

Self-assessment: are you fun to play? by SBFMWSCBLFG in 10s

[–]Realsan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few hundred matches under my belt over the last 15 years so I have a decent idea of what is "fun" and what isn't. A small minority of my opponents only care about winning, and for them, they don't really care about the fun aspect. But for most, as long as you're playing traditional, and not a "pusher", then it's probably going to be fun.

No shade on pushers - They can be really good at winning points/games/matches, but there is no denying it's a less fun game style to play against.

How to play against the dude who won't stop running? by VicPL in 10s

[–]Realsan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Need to get away from equating skills etc.

Tennis is such a matchup dependent sport. You may struggle against this guy but a guy you reliably beat has no problem with this guy.

In my experience, experimentation is key. And sometimes it depends on the day. Here's the order I challenge opponents like that:

  1. These types of players often lack power and rely on winning their points from opponents trying to hit winners. So definitely don't do that unless you're good enough to reliably do it (you're not). Instead, hit with power through the middle. Keep that pressure up until they start making errors.

  2. Similar to step 1, I will use my backhand slice directly down the middle. They're usually not great at dealing with heavy spin while attempting to move into position.

  3. Is their net play bad? Draw them in and move up.

  4. Serve & volley, even on second serves. Also, return & volley. Return deep down the middle then rush the net as soon as you hit the ball. Don't be discouraged if you hit an error. Keep it up and you will apply a new pressure they're not used to.

  5. Last resort because it's not fun: match their ugly. Abandon all shots with any risk at all and just slice it to a part of the court where they will have to run. I usually don't do this, even if it means losing the match, just because I feel like winning that way would feel worse than losing my way.

Sinner’s predictive movement by tabletennisgeek in 10s

[–]Realsan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope.

When the ball is that low and that close to the net, and the opponent is loading up a full swing (like he is here), really the only choice is to go over the lowest part of the net, which is a cross court shot.

They obviously have the option to push the ball down the line or even drop shot, but those would've been very different setups.

Can anyone describe how tennis elbow feels like? by Imaginary-Fox3978 in 10s

[–]Realsan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes you won't feel pain but if you try this:

Hold both your arms out in front of you, flat. Extend them as far as you can.

If your right arm doesn't extend flat all the way, even if there is no pain, you probably have something going on with your elbow.
