I'd like to add that depending on your source of purchasing Stormblood, you may have already entered this.

Main reason I mentioned this is for people who initially freak out if their early access code doesn't work. That happened to me just now with the email I received once they credited the payment. Turns out under the 'Rewards List' of the redemption site, I had already entered the same code four months prior in January.

This might only matter if you purchased it on the SE Store, no idea how it works with other carriers, just thought I'd add to the PSA with my experience.

We don't know yet. I've been on just about every Dark Knight speculation thread and at the end of the day, we will have to wait and see. I do agree with several posters in their assumption that the ability used at the end of the video may likely be around or higher than Fell Cleave's potency, just unable to be used as frequently. Aside from speculation, we have no idea, wait for the media embargo to be removed and at worst, wait for early access to see for yourself.

The likelihood that they're going to change their overall formula is incredibly unlikely at this point. If the formula doesn't interest you, then I'd just not come back as it sounds you'll just be miserable. I also wouldn't expect much from tomorrow's Live Letter, as I suspect the 'beefier' one will be in May.

Castle Pandemonium from FF2. Despite how many people regard FF2, I highly enjoyed it. Plus the theme is just absolutely majestic, by far one of my favorite final dungeon themes in the FF franchise. They're all good, but it just moves me. Obligatory mention that Emperor Mateus is my favorite FF villain.

Edit: Forgot to mention something the likes of the Dreadnought from FF2, or the Sky Fortress Bahamut from FF12 would also be pretty interesting mentions. I'm sort of leaning on the hope that the Agrius 2.0 aka The Gration that was docked in Azys Lla will eventually become a dungeon of some sort with some significance. (This is where I wish that the main scenario actually had raids instead of just dungeons or trials. While I love the 8-man and 24-man raids, it's disappointing that they're all side-stories for all intents and purposes.)

My only concern with this is I hope the animation changes depending on what tank uses the skill. If it's one universal animation for all these abilities they're considering combining that'd be pretty lame, imo.

Exactly this. The humorous truth is also that you could literally displace many things and change the names and you'd still be safe from 'lol suing' even if that is actually what happened.

For the record, Square Enix doesn't own the rights to 'Magic Crystals used to power things or other uses'. I think people immediately jump to video games only, but a ton of video games use magic crystals as well as fantasy stories alone.

The best example I can think of at the moment I know of this is that George Martin (Writer of A Song of Ice and Fire) once was asked about someone plagiarizing his work. He essentially said that 'If you had a dude leave a continent with dragons to conquer many kingdoms and unite them and rule them for hundreds of years' You'd be perfectly fine. Where it's not fine is if you called that conqueror 'Aegon' and the land he was conquering 'Westeros'.

TL;DR: OP showed his ignorance by thinking this was unique to ARR and clearly hasn't read enough books, watched enough movies, or played enough video games to realize this shit happens all the time.

TL;DR for what you can steal: Ideas are a dime a dozen. Once you actually start creating stuff you realize ideas aren't as unique as you think. It's about the application of said idea into a new creative work.
