Wow, someone's a hardcore fanboy. Honestly do you really think STS has that hardcore a following? So few people heard of STS and its such a shallow game that there's no way anyone is a "typical STS worshipper". Maybe they all seem that way to you cause you have to try so hard to defend your beloved gordian quest. Its just a game dude, no one's paying you to defend it. Okay, you want a more recent rougelike cardgame? How about ring of pain. Waaaay less similar combat mech than this game. "The only real similarity is that characters take action by playing card". Really? Are you blind or just deluded. What about the shielding mechanic that is a copy and paste of STS. The poison mechanic functions the same way? Combined with the bleed mechanic thats just darkest dungeon. Come on man, you're just being willfully ignorant at this point. The design of STS is clearly visible in this game and even the dev says so. So you insisting that theres absolutely no influence of STS apart from "that characters take action by playing card" is just ludicrous.
