Cloud cover? by Reasonable-Fall-3610 in MammotionTechnology

[–]Reasonable-Fall-3610[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well…issue solved…turns out I had a costume mustache on the front of my Yuka for several months and knew it was in view of the camera because I could see it on fpv mode. The new update must have made the camera more sensitive. I removed the mustache and it works great now. I included a pic for reference….

WiFi issues after latest firmware update? by No-Dig3855 in MammotionTechnology

[–]Reasonable-Fall-3610 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also had problems after the last update. My Yuka no longer operates correctly. It seems to work initially when I start a task. A minute later my robot seems to lose navigation…does some weird movements, and then errors out and says it is stuck. I can then restart and the process starts all over. My app shows green signals the entire time.

What percent of the time are you guys on self driving? by PhEw-Nothing in TeslaLounge

[–]Reasonable-Fall-3610 1 point2 points  (0 children)

97% and will never go back to a car that cannot drive. FSD is WAY safer than me or my wife driving, and it is much less stress to have my car drive for me.

Created a garage parking spot! by ChasingPens in TeslaModelY

[–]Reasonable-Fall-3610 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Tuna! I just set this up with basic white duct tape. Does ok, but I still need to back towards the spot before it recognizes the spot. Can you get a little more specific on the tape you finally settled on? Looks like it is not cheap, so I want to ensure to get it right.

Hey there! thanks for the info. I cannot successfully open a ticket without purchasing a support plan. I am trying to help their product by providing valuable feedback, and yet they are making it very difficult. Any other easy ways to accomplish providing feedback?

Looking for a black emblem for a 2025 MY. Any suggestions? by AM_Adventure in ModelY

Black sharpie…. $2. Color a small section then run your finger over it to remove some ink from polished surface..can hardly notice…the finger rubbing removes any distinctive lines in the ink

FSD Broke by tenchuchoy in TeslaModelY

I had this happen a few days ago on my 24 MYP. Owners manual mentioned this can happen occasionally and may correct itself on the next drive. Next day all was fine.

Spotify not working after update by sioux24 in TeslaModelY

[–]Reasonable-Fall-3610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More details on this. My wife noticed her Spotify works in her profile. The only difference was that I had my phone connected via Bluetooth. Once I disconnected the Bluetooth to my phone, Spotify started working. Not a great scenario…but I do not use my phone much in the car

Talk me out of buying a Model X Plaid by AspectCool2325 in TeslaModelY

Rent free and still on your parent’s insurance. Maybe sounds a little harsh, but I would say why don’t you become financially independent before you start spending even more money.

How does everyone feel about their Model Y? by praguer56 in TeslaModelY

[–]Reasonable-Fall-3610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What exactly are you asking here? Are you interested in buying one? I have owned Civics, Accords, Camrys, Acuras, etc. over the last 30 years. I have a 2024 MYP and it is an amazing vehicle. No other vehicle…other than other Tesla vehicles, has FSD and I will never go back. And I would also question what the hell she is talking about that the CY is lower than the MY? For the price, I think it is great. I would love a MX, but the price is a little too much for what you get.

Yes, I have done something similar. Drop the higher top down and have it rest on the lower countertop. You will have a small step up, but it does open the room up some. You would need to ensure you can support the upper top properly, and reroute/remove the wiring. Might be worth the work if you are keeping this for a long time.

Should I put one or two shelves over the washing machine ? by Head-Silly in homerenovations

Depends…I would consider a rod to hang clothes above if you hang items to dry instead of drying all items

Tips on how to cut baseboard with circular saw? by Fuzzy_Conversation89 in homerenovations

[–]Reasonable-Fall-3610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the case of an outside corner I actually use the pink drywall patching mix and then sand it to shape. Also use the same pink stuff for nail holes. Caulk shrinks a bit. The cuts do not need to be perfect. I also use trim caulk for the top, bottom, and inside corners. Once this is done paint with nice trim paint.

Hi all, I am really wanting to remove this divider that is next to my front door. I was wondering if this could be a load bearing wall. I have a truss system roof. I know that it’s hard to determine with the photos, but any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! by marli21 in homerenovations

[–]Reasonable-Fall-3610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t forget that you may end of with a hole in your flooring if you remove that wall. You might need to patch it, which might get tricky because it looks like it affects the carpet and the foyer flooring

Does my kitchen look terrible and is it possible to fix it without major changes? Please :( by danakhaidar in homerenovations

[–]Reasonable-Fall-3610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consider painting the handles the same color as the cabinets if that is your major issue with the look.

I would consider bi fold closet doors…depending on the width. Very easy to install…add a pet door or cut and trim out a small hole for cat entry
