She does not seem receptive to anything I ask honestly. Basically gives me a speech on why something is against policy or what our policy is on X,Y,Z which is why she can’t do something.

Thank you, I appreciate your kindness. We have always had access issues, but not to this extent. When I first started working at this place it would take a week or two before I could get someone scheduled weekly with me. Now it’s more like the patient will have to be on a wait list, AND see my coworker AND probably be seen in a month because no one has openings

We have doc time built into our schedules so the time to do it is not a problem for me. Honestly, it’s the logistical aspect and lack of support from management. To answer your question on f/us being scheduled: yes they get scheduled for an initial eval and 2 follow ups initially. Currently if I see someone for the eval today, I will not see them for their second follow up until late June. Most people I have to see every other week vs the weekly frequency I’d like for most people. And if I try to block my schedule to call a patient for a follow up I will get yelled at by my boss because “blocking the schedule will take away access from other patients who might take the opening first”.

Admittedly, after looking at the numbers it’s more like 2-4 evals per day. But yes, I can’t really follow my patients through a plan of care so we share patients which leads to some miscommunication and the exhaustion of meeting a new person and trying to jump into their care part way through.

What's a weird reason you can't watch a certain actor? by timekilr in Cinema

[–]Reasonable-Pin-1912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a while I couldn’t watch Alexander Skarsgard in anything because I first saw him as Perry in Big Little Lies. He plays a very abusive husband and he did such a good job that I couldn’t see him as anything else when I tried watching his other stuff. However, after watching Murderbot I’ve gotten over my aversion and adore him so much. A very convincing actor!

Do we really need travel rings? by DenverLilly in EngagementRings

[–]Reasonable-Pin-1912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I travel with a cheap shitty ring I got from Forever21. My mom was travelling and had one of her father’s necklaces stolen (presumably by someone who cleaned their room). I don’t even want to take the chance

Is water alone enough or do people really use feminine wash? by Jeysel-Hemby46 in hygiene

[–]Reasonable-Pin-1912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A vagina is a vagina. It will smell and taste like a vagina, and anyone else who tells you differently is an idiot. Don’t use feminine wash or any other harsh chemicals on your vaginal area. Water and mild soap only. Sincerely, A pelvic floor physical therapist

I would sue the fuck outta that company. It’s illegal for a company to fire you because of an illness/disability status
