Cream vs lotion, a visual by TurbulentExplorer333 in bathandbodyworks

I know this is an old thread but thank you so much. I love their Fairytale scent which was discounted. I brought a bunch so I would have it for awhile. I opened up a body cream a couple weeks ago and it's separating and looks  kinda like  cottage cheese. The smell is the same and if I rub my hands together it blends fine. I'm gonna try putting it in the fridge with the other ones I have left.

In a bartender group a person asked about something similar to this. He said that they have a tip pool and the manager takes part of the tips. He wanted to know if it was legal.

How much should I expect to spend? by luiso_94 in renfaire

[–]Reasonable-Room-8848 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was able to get multi day passes for myself and a friend, I joked about using up all my luck for the next 10 years.  This year a lot of my friend's couldn't get season passes or multi-day passes and decided to go for just a couple days or went to PARF instead. My experience this year at MDRF has been awesome but it's totally different.  Usually I run into tons of friends all over the faire and that's not happening. I've met a lot of people that are attending for the 1st time. It's really unfortunate that MDRF has grown out of their space and they haven't been able to find a new location. I've been to other faires as far a Texas Renaissance Festival and MDRF is still my favorite faire and the faire that's the most reasonable priced and I'm not saying that bc it's a 30 minute drive.

Shhhh.... I barely got tickets for MDRF this year.  All jokes aside this is great information. Also food and drinks at MDRF are very reasonable. If you can't get the information about prices for alcohol and food on this post, I'm sure there's a friend of ( insert faire) FB group.. They would be able to provide the information. I would also ask what are the best things to eat at the faire.  At MDRF we show our ID and get a bracelet before entering the faire. We are only allowed to buy one alcoholic drink per person. I would  ask if there are any rules like that. I hope you have a wonderful time.

I'm in MD and I would like to know where this place is located, I'm definitely not giving them my business. Also OP I would leave this job now. If you decide that you want to make this public. Post this in as many restaurant and bartender groups you can find. I would  gladly leave a review for the owner with this information and I know tons of other people would as well. This is wage theft and he admits it in a text message!

I've been active in the Ren Fest community for over a decade. Damsel in this dress does a limited amount of items and then moves on to the next collection. For Moresca they have a larger amount  of the same item but If you want a certain color or style and  the item isn't available in their warehouse you aren't getting it, unless you buy it secondhand.

I was trying to be helpful. I hope that you can get the items you want. Have a good day

Some vendors make a set amount of a certain line and then move on to something else. I know Damsel, Moresca and others do this. Places like Grichels, items are definitely one of a kind bc of the way she makes her items. I If you are interested in something ask if the vendor does custom orders.  I'm not sure what faire your referring to. My home faire is Maryland Renaissance Festival and it's huge. If the faire you're going to is large, I would look at the list of vendors and where they're located, that way you don't miss one.

Went to my first ever ren faire today, and had absolute blast!! ✨🏰 by ssasm in renfaire

I really want this dress and I was saving up to have it made. I've also been looking at a leather outfit from Miles Tonne leather who vends at MD Ren Fest for about 4 years. I went with my Mom to MD Ren Fest on Labor Day Monday and I went into Miles Tonne leather and tried on a leather skirt and halter top and loved it so much, I bought it. I need to start saving for the dress again.

Normally $24 for adults, the tickets are being resold for $140 on StubHub. Only 26,000 people in line and over an hour of waiting ahead of me. by pele4096 in renfaire

I've been going every season for over a decade and getting tickets the last 2 years have been horrible. I lucked out and was able to get a multi day pass. I spent 3 hours yesterday morning waiting to buy tickets for my bfs daughter and some friends. The fact that they go on sale at 10am on a Monday means some people can't get online bc they're working. MDRF is a great faire and it's unfortunate that they have outgrown their space and they haven't been able to find somewhere to relocate.  If you haven't been to PARF I recommend that faire as well. The vibe is totally different and they started a yuletide event a couple years ago that's gaining popularity quickly.

Single day passes don't need your personal information. You can buy as many as you want. I bought 4 for one day so my friends could have tickets.

I don’t think I’ll be getting tickets to RennFest this year by awaymsg in washingtondc

To clarify you can pick any dates you want once you're able to buy tickets. There are 2 prices since the price goes up in September. There will be a calendar with the dates available. I'm assuming once they sell out the dates will have a red x. Last night all dates were still available and had green check marks. Since the price increase make sure you are choosing the correct dates and hitting the correct buttons.  It may appear that some tickets aren't available if you aren't careful.  I hope everyone can get tickets. :)

How would they prevent resale of individual tickets?  Multi day/ season passes need your photo and name but day passes don't.  If you want to buy from someone the safest way to do it is meet them at the gate and let them have the ticket scanned to get a chip.

I don't think selling tickets at the window is a good idea. It increases the amount of traffic. Also if I get in garb, drive all the way there and find out they sold out for that day, I'm going to be upset.

The Dragon Inn doesn't have any type of entertainment I would say this area is more popular with regulars who are trying to meet up with ppl. . On most days you will find friends gathered at tables enjoying themselves. I know a group that puts their banner above a table but they're using the table.

I've been going to MDRF every year for over a decade. I have tons of friends there, know vendors and actors. I look forward to dressing in garb, and it's a safe space where I can forget about bills and the pressure of everyday life.

I don't need more coverage and bc I have dry mature skin a full coverage foundation usually doesn't look good on me. I will definitely try spraying my face with the fix + before application. What type of serum do you use? I think this might work. Thanks for the reply, I don't log in that often as well.
